PCAs 2017 Proved the Theories about Fifth Harmony
I have been reading theories as well as speculations over what to expect to happen in 2017 regarding Fifth Harmony.
I am a huge fan of the girls and I have never been a hard core fan of an artist before. I’m a type of a person who don’t like assumptions and speculations but I always keep reading those theories because out of those many things that I read, even if they are just opinions, they are supported with theories and for me, all of them make sense. If you see my reblog and likes, most of them are theories which are supported with research and those who posted them are not bluffing. They did a really deep research about it. I never give opinion over which is right or wrong because all of them are possible. One of those theories might be the truth over what actually happens.
After the PCA performance by the girls, I can draw 3 conclusions.
1. emisonme was right about Lauren will be the next “it girl”. All of us know that in “Work From Home”, Lauren is the center among all of the girls. She sings the chorus which will be the 1st ones among all lyrics which will be attached to the listeners. Originally, Lauren was the solo in the chorus. But in the PCA performance, we can see that Lauren being put in the beginning, replacing Camila and covering Camila’s part drew audience’s attention to her. That note changes Lauren did was also really lit, showing her singing skills with her husky voice that she also can sing high notes, not only low notes just like she usually does.
Maverick did a really good job with that idea of displaying the girls’ name in the background monitor. That way, the world will remember the girls’ names one by one. So they will not only remember Camila, but also the other girls. This is a re-branding strategy for Fifth Harmony. The name “Lauren” in the beginning will be forever fetched in the world’s minds.
Then, we can also see that in the new choreography along the new arrangement of “Work From Home” that Lauren was mostly in the center, making people’s eyes drawn to her.
2. Among all theories that I have read, it is speculated that Dinah might be the “it girl”. What’s interesting is that most of these theories are fans’ opinions, but the PCAs 2017 performance proved them right.
We can see that along the performance, Dinah was like backing up the girls with her improvisation, especially Lauren during the chorus with that “work.. work” phrase.
Now if you see again the display of the girls’ names in the background monitor, you realize that there is a difference between Dinah and the other girls, right? Yes! Dinah’s name is the only name among the 4 girls which were displayed fully: “Dinah Jane”. Everyone knows that usually the news will mention their names with full name: Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane. But, it was only Dinah who had the full name displayed in the monitor. Oh well, the other girls’ names might be too long to display. Seriously? “Dinah Jane” has 9 characters. “Ally Brooke” also has 9 characters. The news and articles never mention Ally’s name with only “Ally”. They always mention her last name as well, like “Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke......” or “Ally Brooke from Fifth Harmony......”
Dinah is also a rare name. It’s not like Lauren who is quite a common name. We don’t need the “Jane” because even when we mention “Dinah”, we will know she is from Fifth Harmony. Well, you can even try to google it. Type ONLY “Dinah” on Google and the profile which appears is Dinah’s twitter and Dinah’s pictures, proving that it’s a rare name.
As to why it happened, I don’t know. But obviously Maverick has a reason why they put Dinah’s name fully.
3. The speculations that the girls will look really close to each other was proven right. They hugged each other. They touched each other physically. There were less gaps during the red carpet. There were less tension. Even their choreography also made them stand really close to each other.
I was in awe with their performace, but I noticed all the difference with the previous choreo. If you haven’t realized it yet, then you better compare the previous choreo, and this new choreo with the new arrangement. It was totally different.
The parents have warned about 2017. I think we will have a lot of surprises. But again, I will not make any more speculations. There have been a lot of theories and speculations made by the fans who I think are really analytical. I will wait for what will happen instead. I just want you to open your eyes and wake up. If these little theories have been proven to be right, even if most of what I mentioned here are speculations, then what about those theories which have even been supported with research?
