1. Favorite game from the last 5 years?
Nier: Automata, no question. Every so often a game comesaround that makes me remember why I love gaming, that captures the spirit ofwonder that I saw the first time I turned on my friend’s Playstation for thefirst time, and this was the most recent one to do that. The world is gorgeous,the music is bar none some of the best in any media, the characters areheartbreakingly genuine and earnest, and if you can get through the jank it hassome of the most thought provoking story beats and character moments I’ve seenin any game to date.
18. Place from a game that you’d like to live in?
Probably Fa’Diel from Legend of Mana. It’s just such a soft,dreamy place full of vibrant life and color. And I could be like a teapot or agrape or something, which, let’s be real, would be dope as hell. This game andits setting is the equivalent of drinking hot cocoa while wrapped in a quiltlooking out on a snowy night, knowing you don’t have anywhere to be tomorrow.Even in the game’s version of Hell, everyone is actually pretty nice!
25. What power-up or ability would you want IRL?
Give me those big jump baybey. Like, infinite money and godmode would be cool and all but honestly? This bitch just wants to jump realhigh.
