This was supposed to be a small, knit for half an hour, sample of a triangular shawl for #5shawls5days by @arohaknits but it has a mind of its own and wants to turn into a new design. The second shawl shape for #5shawls5days is a crescent shape - I added some stripes and decided to knit the black in stockinette, but the red in garter stitch. I’m on Day 3 of a 5 Shawls in 5 Days Challenge, so for FO Friday, I’ll post my finished “mini-shawls”:

LEFT: Triangular shawl (I made it a little more challenging with a tiny horseshoe cable down the “spine”);

CENTER: Semi-circular shawl (I know it looks more crescent due to my blocking; added a few “V” patterns); and

RIGHT: Crescent shawl (still on blocking pins - used the crochet bind-off and tried a lacy pattern).

Fashion show time. The tiny shawls from #5shawls5days are essentially swatches, but a perfume bottle can wear them, too. These are in order with the side to side shawl shown from both front and back. This one is a day late because center out always takes me multiple tries. Day 5 of #5shawls5days the center out square. Dang pinhole cast on never sticks with me. Also making an appearance is the bonus/day 6, the asymmetrical triangle also known as a cornucopia shape. Thanks as always to @arohaknits for an excellent challenge. The #yarn is Malabrigo Sock in Lettuce.
