cannot believe its been 12 years of 5sos self titled debut album :,) been there since the beginning, watched their youtube videos before they took off, was a fan already when i saw them open up for my one direction 🥹 i have been there for every single, music video, album drop, been around for absolutely everything including their solo journeys and everything in between.
i went from being 12/13 years old to being 26 and watching their growth with mine omg :,) i havent been to every nyc concert they’ve done, but i have seen them 3 times in my lifetime and its been beautiful and chaotic every time.
been loving 5sauce since forever and i cannot wait for future projects <3

what that intro what WHAT drums sound so fucking good, luke's vocals omg, so much reverb OMG THE PRE-CHORUS I WANNA STAYYYY this chorus hits soooo hard i've had it on loop since they posted the clip oh it goes back to that spacey and then it dries out? wtf is this it's so good the PERCUSSIONS MAN I WANNA STAYYYYYYY harmonized is GOLDEN BABY IT'S A DREAM the chord progressions are so fucking cool, especially the last one of the chorus. ooooh bridge with saturated vocals?? here for it. LORD IT HITS SO HARD THE LAST CHORUS WITH THOSE ADLIBS, outro? insane. love it so hard. fuck soooo good

this is my fave single. i call it my better side i call it the call me up if you wanna feel better side ugh so good. so saturated everything i'm obsessed. pre-chorus slaps with that bassline. and the chorus HITS. makes me wanna JUMP JUMP JUMP JUMP JUMP BITE THE APPLE BABY the tambourine on the second part of the chorus sends me every time. so good. calum's verse? chef's kiss. the DELIVERY. INSANE. the riff is so fucking good and catchy. where did the good boy GO????? HEY I'M NOT OKAY I LIKE THE DARKER SIDE OF ME. the lyrics in this song are so fucking amazing. also ash saying i said i loved you but i didn't really mean OOOOOF man. THE GUITAR SOLO WTF SO GOOD. pretty sure they stuck a chorus pedal on it. michael!!!!!! i'm so into these heavily saturated vocals. it sounds SO BIG AND SO SPLENDID.
3. Telephone Busy
gotta admit this was my least favorite single but it keeps growing on me. OKAY OKAY OKAY IT'S JUST NOT MY DAY. LITERALLY ME. the bass slaps so hard. so much reverb going into the chorus. so sugary, so pop, oh wow i'd never heard those synths before, sound great. AGAIN WITH THE SATURATED BASS MAN they're so fucking good. these ear candies are so fucking cool. OKAY OKAY IT'S JUST NOT MY DAY. are they in my brain????? bass in this song is a real standout. like, GO CALUM!!!! the breakdown omg I'LL NEVER CHANGE I WILL NEVER CHANGE it's gonna make my brain explode chill dudes but yeah i get it, it sounds so cathartic even. i love the outro with the vocals and the bass and guitar and then the duh-duh-duh
4. Boyband
this bass line HITS once again. whiny luke i missed you. drums sound huge and tight. raised on pop punk and bubblegum is such a cool lyric js. the pre-chorus leading you into an antidrop was so smart. then the camera flashes and back to the second verse. love me when i'm skinny and we never ever age. the DEPTH. the production is insane wtf i'm obsessed. kickdrum and bass with lead calum vocal? yas pls. THE GUITAR SOLO. ONE OF THEIR BEST. then the kind of chopped effect with muddy vocals, so good. the last synth pls i wanna live inside it.
5. No. 1 Obsession
ooooh snare OOOOOH SHUFFLE youngblood vibes i know that boys don't cry !!!! sympathize with that panned effect and that guitar riff???? fuck. i'm vibing so hard. pre-chorus is dreamy and dark. chorus guitar riff is so fucking cool. KILL THE DEPRESSION. PLEASE. okay i'm obsessed. these saturated guitars man. then clean vocals and drums hit. TAKE ME TO HEAVEN! KILL THE DEPRESSION!! MAKE ME YOUR NUMBER ONE OBSESSION. so catchy. WTF IS THIS BRIDGE??? HEAVEN??? literally????? ohhhhhhhhhhhhh it's in crescendo. woaaah. a roller coaster for sure. anti drop again and then it all comes back in. drums sound so fucking good. the vocal effects in this album are so good.
6. I'm Scared I'll Never Sleep Again
this feels like a ballad but i'm not sure. oooh little bass. so much effects on the lead vocal. but i'm obsessed. calum talking? yes pls. yep, ballad. it's very vibey. piano sounds great. drums sound great too. drums + bass + luke and then piano + synths. it all grows and it sounds tender and nostalgic and the guitar licks are so nice. bridge sounds good, what a vocal. wish the bass was a little louder. oooh just luke and piano. tugs your heartstrings. it just stops there????
7. istillfeelthesame
oooh post-punk vibes on these drums. i'm vibing to this. guitar sounds excellent. pre-chorus makes me feel like the chorus could hit harder but it's kinda flat? the post-chorus sounds cool as fuck tho. MICHAEL DELIVERING VOCALS!!!! that rhytmic melody is so good. chorus is very chill in context of this song but it's cool. it's very post-punk. WHAT IS THIS CHANGE???? i like this outro omg

you sound like me when you're drunk lmfao vomit all over the yard oh shit man. the synth is cool. woah, vintage feel to the drums but also the effects on the synths make it sound modern. another cool ballad. that slide guitar ooooh love it. the harmonies are so good. these guys are always drunk and high lmfao but i was just like them up until three months ago. i feel like when i read the lyrics this song will hit me like a motherfucker. ohhhh getting rockier and heavier? i'm here for it. this live would be insane. i'm glad the drum sound gets more modern at the last part.
9. Sick Of Myself
very the strokes intro. i'm into it. luke's falsetto is so good. it's kind of fun but self-deprecating and honestly it's a vibe. very the strokes i'm impressed, because it still sounds like 5sos. i'm bopping my head side to side. back at it again with the guitar riffs and i'm so here for it!!!! hit that ride cymbal ash !!!! yesss gimme cal's bassline i'd missed it. STAAAAY PLEASE STAAAAY PLEASE ooooh i love this outro

funky bassline, good work. fuzzy noisy synth sounds so good. the chatter too. ANGEL ABOVE ME ALJDFHSFJKGDHSDKLGF okay these lyrics are so lskdjfkhgh guys I WANNA GET FUCKED me too man me too. this is so fun omg. pre-chorus sounds solid with that guitar. i'm smiling so much. okay chorus.. feels like kind of an antidrop? i don't know how i feel about it. let's listen to it again later, this second verse is so good. HARMONIES STRAIGHT OUT OF THE GATE??? oooooh fun drum pattern. synths and guitar + luke lead vocal. looooove. pre chorus is chill and i like it now the chorus is very vibey and i like it but it could hit harder? post-chorus is king tho. second verse, rhytmic melody loveeeee. i love the strokes' influence so much. the bridge is wtf i'm in love. ooooh filtered kickdrum for the last chorus. then it comes back normal and it sounds so good. vibing. less alone ! less alone ! less alone !

oooooh hardcore drum king please and the gentle voice? i didn't expect that? the RANGE. last ballad. i like this one. it's cute and fun and experimental too. so many cool synths throughout this album. feeling like yelling this chorus at the top of my lungs at a concert. why is it so short????
