Woke up and went to breakfast, the park serves sourdough pancakes and (don’t let Griffin read this) reindeer sausage (we stuck to pancakes).  The conversation turned to weather and the fact that Valdez (our next destination) was getting snow.  Sure enough all week Valdez will get snow.  So we are calling an audible and heading towards Anchorage today.

Road started out nice, got somewhat ugly outside of Tok and then stayed that way to Richardson Highway (much better than the AH crapola though).   We got to Richardson highway and it was posted at 65, must be a smooth highway…NOT!!  Kept about 45 average the entire way.   Got to Glenallen and the Glenn Highway was all new…really nice 65mph limit…  lasted about 20 miles then back to normal yukky (technical term).
