I've already shared here my journey with CQL—I've actually tried to watch it a couple of times and gave up, until I finally committed to myself that I would watch it all the way through, no matter what.

Who would've imagined that this drama would change my life so much? I fell in love with WangXian. I fell in love with the softness and depth of their devotion. I fell in love with the scenery. I fell in love with the acting. And finally... I fell in love with XZ and WYB.

I’m so grateful for that brave woman who dared to push forward with such a controversial production, for the directors and screenwriters who understood the assignment when it came to the subtlety of WangXian’s love, and for XZ and WYB—for accepting their roles, whether it was because they saw it as a turning point in their careers, or because they were sympathetic to the kind of love being portrayed, or because they were already together and one followed the other...

Anyway.

I just want to shout to the world my love, appreciation, and deep gratitude for CQL. 🫶
