Big Stout Wednesday! Shout outs to my Yeezy’s. So we had the floors in the living room redone after the flood in December, the whole place smells like varnish and we’re forced to work and eat from the bedroom. I found this stout lingering at the back of the fridge and it’s time. Coming in at 10%, this is a spiced imperial stout with amburana (spicy Brazillian wood), it pours black as night with an espresso head and a spicy nose, there’s liquorice and leather up front alongside bitter dark chocolate and cinnamon, it’s hella creamy and not overly boozy, a touch of vanilla, some coffee vibes, wrapping in a dusty dry, sticky finish.
