2012 has been good for Jesse Pimenta, aka Dreams. I've been following Dreams since his fantastic 2011 Absent Fever release, Feelings 4 U. Since then Pimenta's had his track 'Bloodsport' featured on Rustie's BBC Essential Mix, dropped a handful of singles, including, 'Don't Care About Her' played Boiler Room LA, and released two EP's, FLYTE and most recently, his Astro Nautico release, Lost Kingdom. One of my favorite EP's of the year.
The rate at which Dreams is diversifying and developing his own, imaginative take on bass music is really exciting. One of the most promising up-and-comers to watch in 2013.
