Day 1422 | Highland Valley Trail by JL 2.8 Via Flickr: With the kiddos getting to be a bit older, we've been challenging them, i.e. making them, start going on walks/hikes with us every so often. This down in southeast Boise, from the Highland Valley Trail, and it was an experience! Kids did well overall, little breakdown here and there but they sure were excited to finish it! Subsequent hikes have been less traumatic ;)
Day 1292 | Camas Prairie - Centennial Marsh WMA by JL 2.8 Via Flickr: This prairie is about 100 miles east of Boise and you just never know what you're going to get. This spring was a bit on the dry side, so this is actually on the lighter side for the Camas bloom, but still well-worth drive.

Day 994 | Northern Snag by JL 2.8 Via Flickr: Up bright and early after our first night in the condo. I suspect if I'd actually slept, I wouldn't have been awake to get up with the sunrise - glad it happened though. This was off the balcony of the rental.
