Do you like Christopher? What about his father? And his mother? Are they good people? Do you sympathize them when they behave unskilfully, or blame them for their faults?

I only loved christopher in the story because he was amzing ,funny , phenomenal . both his parents were charcters that i hate for what they did , because they were not good , for example : his mom lef him and went to london , and has married another man ,which is totally unexeptable , who would leave thier own child,another example :his dad , he killed a pet that christopher loved , and he said that christophers mom was dead and she was not , he couldnt take care of his child then his chi;ld escaped .

I pretty much blame them because christopher is such a nice child , and they couldnt take care of him .I really felt sorry for christopher for having such parents because christopher is a special child with a nice heart that he'd be loved by anyone . i wouldnt say that his parents hated him but if you love sombody you wouldnt leave that person in the first place . he just went through so much .

How has your opinion of social media changed from doing this project? Some people look at social media negatively – how would you argue with them that it can be useful and educating?

My opinion about social media has changed alot from doing this project ,well id say that i was like them, social media is something negative specially when it comes to students because students might use it in a negative way or in away that would distaract them from their studies , but what I have relized that when I use to finish my home wrok id do tumblr work which is fun and exciting at the same time , it would relive my stress , rather than it was more stressful , because i could look up at other things that is exciting and amzing to watch .

How has your opinion of social media changed from doing this project?

       Social Media is a network that lets a lot of people all around the world to communicate with each other. It can let people know what happens in the world very easily with only one or two clicks. People use it to find out about celebrities, movies, tv series, etc. They also use it for finding out about their family or their loved ones who are outside the country. 

       Using Tumblr as a school project is one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done in school. It is a more fun way to do home works and excites me to do for home works than I used to before. It can help us see what other classes or students are working if someone doesn’t know what to do.

Do you like Christopher? What about his Father? What about his Mother?

    Christopher’s Mother

               It's through his Mother that we get a glimpse of just how challenging it is to care for someone with a social disorder, like when Christopher starts smashing things in a store, or refuses to step onto a bus and insists that they walk miles home. I admire his Mom’s awareness of her limitations, and her attempts at being a better mother, despite all the difficulties she faces and the craziness spinning around her.

     Christopher

              We realise his disorder affects his ability to interact with people. But, even knowing this, he sure does some pretty obnoxious things in the book – not only obnoxious, but often quite hurtful to the people who love him (from literally painful, like smashing his mother's foot with a cutting board, to more upsetting, like smashing expensive items in a store). Yet I cant help but root for Christopher.

    Christopher’s Father

               Christopher’s father lovingly and diligently cares for Christopher, yet he also struggles with the frustration he feels as a result of not always being able to understand Christopher’s behaviour. He carefully prepares all of Christopher’s meals according to Christopher’s rigid list of likes and dislikes, but he also becomes angry with Christopher when Christopher misunderstands him. Notably, he is extremely protective of Christopher. This impulse to protect Christopher and his desire to punish Christopher’s mother for the way she left leads him to lie to Christopher about mother’s leaving. I think thats the best thing about Christopher’s Father.

I choose the song “The truth” by Kris Allen for the scene where Christopher finds out about his father knowing that his mother was still alive. In the song, Kris says “Trying not to let you down Honesty is honestly the hardest thing for me right now”. That would work well with the scene because Christopher’s father is trying to tell him that he lied because he had to, and that it was really hard for him to say the truth. ‘I still stand here holdin' up the roof 'Cause it's easier than telling the truth.” This also explains how hard it was for Father to tell Christopher about the truth.

Christopher and his family:

There are many reasons as to why I like the character Christopher. Christopher is very intelligent and motivated. Christopher always does the best at everything like for example he does his best to take A level maths. Another reason why I like Christopher is because he is extremely honest and he maintains his honesty till the end of the book. Christopher overcame many obstacles throughout the book. An example is talking to strangers. His motivation was to find out who killed the dog which encouraged him to talk to strangers. When Christopher says that he will do something, he makes sure he does it in the best way possible. For example, he wanted to find out who killed Wellington, which he did.

My opinion on Christopher’s father changed throughout the book. At first, I liked Christopher’s father. He took care of Christopher and made sure that everything was fine with him. I changed my opinion about Christopher’s father as soon as I found out that he hid the fact that his mother was still alive. Christopher’s father also confessed that he was the one that killed Wellington, which he was supposed to do earlier, right when he found out that Christopher wants to know who killed the dog. I disliked Christopher’s father when I found out that he lied to his son. I knew however, that he did that to protect Christopher but he shouldn’t have lied.

I had no opinion on Christopher’s mother at first, since we all thought she was dead. Later in the book we found out that Christopher’s mother is still alive and that she left Christopher and his father because she thought they were better off without her. She thought that Christopher can be happier with his father since she is very short tempered. Then we realized that she thought about them and she wasn't selfish and she thought they would be happier without her.

I sympathize Christopher’s father for taking good care of him in the absence of his mother, as a father and a mother too. His father tries his best to make Christopher happy, even though sometimes he used the wrong ways to ensure his happiness. I do not sympathize Christopher’s mother when she behaves unskillfully like yelling at Christopher. However I do think that they are good parents that thought they did what is best for their child.

Social Media:

Many people think that social media wastes precious time and have a negative opinions about it. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages, depending on how you use it. I personally always had a positive point of view on social media. My opinion didn't change much, but after the project, I clearly saw how social media can be used in a good way, like for educational purposes. This project can change any person’s opinions on social media. This project shows how using social media the right way, can be extremely helpful and can benefit people in many ways. With social media, you can express your thoughts using many different ways. You can also see other people’s point of view and agree or disagree with it.

I thought that this whole song suited Christopher's particular situation when he was grabbing his things to get out of the house that contained his lying father. This was in the morning when he got scared that his father might still be in the house after spotting a few of his belongings. Mainly, the chorus was the section that really called me to pick this song for this scene. Chorus: "Rain came pouring down when I was drowning That's when I could finally breathe And that morning, gone was any trace of you, I think I am finally clean" What the writer of this song meant by 'clean' was not hygiene clean, it was emotionally clean. After Christopher found an opputunity get out of the house for good and go live with his mother in London, he grabbed it. Even though there were challenging obstacles on the way and he may or may not have showed it, he was glad to finally to be away from his muniplulative father and back with his long last mother, Judy.
