Fun fact: Damon Albarn’s solo album “Everyday Robots” seems partially inspired by Dr. John Dee, who often theorized upon occult/spiritual ideas, angels, philosophy, etc. Damon often performed these songs live with the 7-pointed star taped to his upright piano, and a number of his music videos showed this symbol, as well. The 7-pointed star represents a star John Dee created for the sake of theoretically connecting to several angels at once. Damon claims the star has a calming, “meditative effect” on him (Reddit).
This album has some of his best tracks, especially ranging on positive. My favorite uplifting song of his is “Heavy Seas Of Love.” This is a screenshot of “Lonely Press Play,” another great song of his.
