Beetnik Amuse Bouche
When this Beetnik appeared on 70s Dinner Party’s feed I knew I had to give it a go. So fun and so accessible, although god knows how to tint a cream cheese beret with vegetable colour.
As you can see, I did not graft a carrot beard on with a toothpick - I simply placed it on the beetroot’s chinny chin chin. I was true to the recipe except for tinting the beret. The beetniks themselves are tasty veggie morsels that you have to swiftly bung in your gob in one go.
