LEGO Minifigures Series 12 (71007)

Finally a more detailed and official look at the next series to be collected. I offered some thoughts previously here.

LEGO Minifigures Series 12 (71007)

Wooooooow!!! Here it is, Series 12!!! And what other should it be than AWESOME! It's great to see how things move on as if they have not been interrupted by two licensed series – or one and a half, let's say.

Here some quick thoughts:

I know the Pizza Delivery Guy is an highly anticipated minifigure, as he was suggested on plenty message boards already.

The ratio of historical figures seems unusually high.

There are nine male vs. five female characters, as I would say the Jester and the Piggy Suit minifigures have neutral faces.

Spooky Girl seems to be inspired by Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter.

Genie and Lifeguard have equivalents with opposite genders in previous series and there have also been two Rock Stars before

A minifigure with the Prospectors hat can be seen in The LEGO Movie (I remember cause I was hoping for it to show up here). That minifigure was wearing a Santa beard in brown, which I think would work better than the Wiley Fusebot piece.

Dino Tracker and Spooky Girl feature new hair pieces.

There is no new accessory either, except the electric guitar. The print designs are mostly pretty cool though.

I see three minifigures (Video Gamer, Genie, and Dino Tracker) using the moulded short sleeves, that were introduced in The Simpsons series.

The images is not the best quality yet, so I will update it as soon as I find a better one.
