IN 1997.. Cleveland Ohio native Big Mucci released his first ever House/Line Dance single "Boodie Bounce". 1 year later as a follow up, do to a high demanding request for him to produce and choreograph another Line Dance, Big Mucci created a Line Dance called "The Cleveland Shuffle". Later that year in 1998 "Big Mucci" released his 1st studio album called "It's All Boodylicious" ( 4 years earlier before Beyonce took sole credit for creating the name Bootylicious)! Big Mucci's 1st studio Album is the Re-Birth of the Urban Line Dance Music Movement that we have today. Before 1998 with Big Mucci's "Cleveland Shuffle" the last Line Dance songs recorded was in 1975 with Fatback Bands "(Are you ready) Bus Stop" and the mid to late 70's Charlie Greene's Line Dance song also called The Bus Stop. Now dont get confused with songs that people line dance to, like the Electric Slide, The Wooble, Blurred Lines, JBs Monorail and many others.. Those are regular records that someone put Line Dances to. When we say A Line Dance song.. Its Music & Lyrics created specifically for the Line Dance thats created to it. Line Dance Songs normally has the Line Dance call out steps in the song. Example Line Dance songs like "The Bikers Shuffle" "Cupid Shuffle" "Bama Boogie" " The Country Scoot" & "Cha Cha Slide", notice you CAN NOT do regular dances like the Snake, hit the Quan or Twerk to them. You have to actually do the dance the was created for it and thats whats called a Line Dance Song! #20thanniversary #clevelandshuffle #bigmucci #71northboyz #71north #linedancemovement #linedancehistory #linedance #cleveland #bifc #216 #throwback (at Cleveland, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bqk5C3xARQt/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=11ix4k49btwmz
