Ever since they had traveled back to 2019; Sigyn had been spending a vast majority of her time dredging through books and news articles in attempts to find the answer to their Stryker problems. After days of wracking her brain she grew frustrated causing her to silence her alarm in the most permanent way. She then draws the sheets over her face and releases her stress into them by producing a loud scream.

to celebrate the titans reforming --- the team are hosting another a karaoke night at the titans tower ! although the event is invite only, all guests are allowed to bring a plus one ( or two ), but ask that everyone comes prepared with a song to perform and yes, singing at least one karaoke track is mandatory.
also, feel free to bring as much food and drink as you want, the hosts would really appreciate it !
the event will begin friday, 9th august at 10pm gmt and end same time monday, 12th august
it will be hosted through our discord server, if you need a link, please dm or drop us an ask on the main !
it’s up to you whether your character(s) will attend or not and the event is completely optional if you don’t wish to participate
however, joining in does count towards activity !

Though Lisa secretly preferred to remain in the 70′s; the small chance she would see the two remaining people she cared for in 2019 persuaded her to go. Sighing lightly in annoyance as another resident explained what they were able to find out so far about the new 2019. Lisa continues to stare almost blankly at the other before stating. “A mutant registration act?” She gives a small sarcastic laugh with a half roll of her eyes and teases. “Right, because that worked out so well for the muggle borns. If books and history are any indication, it looks like we are pretty well screwed here.”
To say that Logan was angry about this decision take everyone back on another trip to 2019 would be an understatement. Though he had agreed with the initial concept he didn’t think they would end up taking everyone along. “We should of sent a scout group of people who either are hard ta kill or don’t mind dyin.” He grumbles as he walks along side of the other while taking mental notes about the new world around them. “Hell, I would of even volunteered and we all know how often that happens.” He grumbles lowly again to himself as he realizes just how many times he had volunteered for missions with a possibility of it being a one way trip; hoping the other either didn’t know or didn’t call him out on it.
“I have a very bad feeling about all of this.” Ted nervously holds onto a tablet in his arms as he looks up from the desk he was sitting at. “Did we do THIS? It’s all wrong.” He places the device down, and putting his head in his hands for a minute with a heavy sigh. There was also an added stress to Max finding out that Ted was still alive now that they’re back home.
His head lifts to look behind him. “I’m sorry. I’m just worried about how much is different, and not in a GOOD way. What did you need again?”
“ I ran out of cigarette. “ A lie came out so easily out of her lips when she was asked why she left without notice after telling them what happened when she was almost caught. Well, she did but that’s not the reason why. Rose was not really thinking. Knowing that there wasn’t really a place for her somewhere made her feel suffocated. That’s why a part of her hated working in a team, she couldn’t help but be dependent on them and she didn’t like that. But having someone had your back was nice too. When someone had identified her, she was given a vague briefing of what was the current situation and she was promised they would hide them away only to call the authority on her. “ Well, that’s not the point. “ She waved a had in attempt to divert the attention back to the conversation. “ The point is, you cannot really trust anyone but yourself. “ Not like she could trust herself either.
It hadn’t been part of Hela’s original plan, she had wanted to sit out the gala but seeing as everyone at the mansion was talking about going, or at least those she overheard speaking of it, she couldn’t pass it up. What kind of goddess would she be, if she stayed behind like an old woman? She was done with events happening around her and not being part of them, not being part of history itself. It was high time to be back in the game. She even picked a nice black dress with a cut out detail on her right side from the back to the front of her hipbone, backless, and a couple of deep green metallic details. Her hair straight and black as usual, falling like an unbroken sheet to her mid back.
And how does one gain entrance to a party one isn’t invited? Quite simple: teleport yourself inside the building and act like you belong. But Hela more than belonged, she was and will always be above them. They’re all mere insects in the presence of a goddess. As she squared her shoulders walking into the main room, she took a flute of champagne from a waiter that walked past her - she’ll need it to be part of this, even if it won’t really do anything to her. Midgardian alcohol was always too weak in her opinion.
As she walked around the room she found a spot to keep a good eye on everyone, her height giving her an advantage to do some surveillance. “It almost feels like those gatherings back home, so long ago. Even the old overbearing men are present, with those fawning at them to earn their favour.” She said to no one in particular, and took a sip of her drink. It would be just too bad to reenact her last act at an Asgardian court party, when she slaughtered everyone present to take her crown. For now, she’d have to play nice no matter how dreadfully boring that could be.

THE STATE OF THE WORLD WAS A MESS ––––––– and if it wasn’t as prevalent before, it certainly was now. Because of the increase in anomalies within the space-time continuum, reports of individuals with extraordinary capabilities have reached an all-time high ––––––– almost as if the newcomers ( or returnees ) were either UNINFORMED about the Manhattan Accords, or chose to IGNORE them.
Either way, it wasn’t too much of an issue ( yet ) ––––––– and Kitty hadn’t felt the need to launch her own investigation into the issue. If the X-MEN hadn’t been called upon yet, then she trusted in the Professor’s judgement for the severity of the issue. For now, it seemed as if the best thing to do was to continue on with her civilian life ––––––– and that was precisely what Kitty intended to do.
She takes time to pack her backpack , working frivolously to leave the place after realizing that the library’s opening hours had closed long ago. Still, Kitty found it ( the library ) to be the best place for her to work in, and if no one had kicked her out initially, she wouldn’t complain. Regardless, she decides to leave swiftly, turning the corner now with no expectations other than shelves and books ––––––– and maybe that’s why her heart skips a beat when she sees the stranger.
