Hello everyone and for this weeks post, I am going to be discussing some of my favorite books and some that you should go pick up at your local store!
-This book by Don Miguel Ruiz is a great book to pick up. It’s relatively short amount of pages have an immense amount of wisdom to teach any reader. This book is one of those that will help you find personal freedom and inner peace with you and the world around you.
-This book is always one every single human should have tucked nicely in a special place and have on hand for travels. This is a timeless piece by Paulo Coelho that will always be one of the greatest stories of all time.
-This wonderful poetry book by author Isabella Mente, is a series of poems on each page that chronicles 7,300 days of ups and downs of the young authors life. Her writing is so beautiful and so personal and any reader can relate to her work.
4. The Girl Who Came Home
-If you are a history buff like myself, and especially are obsessed with the Titanic, then you will surely love this book. The author, Hazel Gaynor, mixes fact with fiction in a wonderful story about a young girl and her voyage on the legendary doomed ship.
5. John Lennon: The Collected Artwork
-Not only was John Lennon a genius in music wether it was solo or originally with the famous Beatles, but he also is a talented artist. Having started when he was a young boy in class, this book showcases all the personal, imaginative, and wonderful art by John Lennon himself. Most are just doodles, but they truly captivate his mind and who he was as a person.
6. Jane Austen Seven Novels
-I have been extremely blessed with an aunt who knows my love for reading and got me this wonderful book with seven great Jane Austen novels. From Sense and Sensibility to Mansfield Park, you will be whirled into the talented writing of Jane and her diverse characters.
7. When the Ghost Screams
-Leslie Rule has a sixth sense, and has shared her own stories and others stories around the world about their true ghostly encounters. If you’re like me and are fascinated with the paranormal, then you will love this and other books written by the author.
-You all know you have read, heard, or most definitely have this book in your possession. This short book with personal poems by Rupi Kaur resonates with the same style as Isabella Mente’s own 7,300 Days. The hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing are the four sections of poetry in this book that really touches your heart and can relate to many young adults embarking into their twenties.
