BRUH your 'verses' website is the coolest thing I've seen in SO LONG this is amazing. Lov it. Would the mun pls explain the idea behind the ratings system for the verses?? I am fascinated.
OOC. // Hello, Taek! Thank you for the compliment. The original code for the page is by glenthemes. The ‘ratings system’ is more for shits and giggles than anything else, and is extremely vague, as you might have noticed. But it does serve as an indication of plot ideas in the verse (even for me!), and how often they might pop up. For example, A Watchful Eye is the verse in which Sebastian is a guardian angel (albeit a notably shoddy one). Its ratings:
Bad Guidance: Vignettes where our muses encounter an obstacle, and Sebastian will either actively or accidentally exacerbate the situation. eg. recommending Denny’s as the ideal first date location.
Wishes: Sebastian is capable of performing minor miracles as an angel, provided they don’t cause harm to anyone and happen infrequently. eg. conjuring waffles out of your muse’s sad, soggy cornflakes. If they bribe him, he might ensure they get hired even after a disastrous job interview.
Holy Bureaucracy: Moments where your muse’s plans may be helped or hindered by the fact that Sebastian has an overarching duty to keep his ‘assignment’ safe. (This might be your muse, or another character altogether). Red tape is a bastard, even in the Heavens. eg. other angels not being pleased by your muse stealing a Lamborghini on Saturday night. Because of course Sebastian didn’t stop them.
I am always delighted when people ask about writing in other verses - either Sebastian’s, or their muse’s own. There is a more updated version of all verses written out in post format here. Thank you for popping by, my friend!
