Re: the poem about dragons and princesses, you may enjoy the Forest Kingdom books by Simon R Greene; they are not quite that poem but they are also not a traditional take. Then again, you might not like them. But it's what I thought of when I read that post. I enjoy your blog, thanks for all the nifty posts.

Hi Kevin! I confess, I had to look that up, because I didn’t realize it was a gun for a few minutes. I’ve only ever fired a Glock 9mm when my uncle took me to a shooting range for my birthday one time, though my mother and I are taking a handgun class together this summer in Epping (nothing says mother-daughter bonding like shooting things, amirite?). I’m curious: what LARPs do you go to? And I have several family members who are St. A’s alums!The zombie comic was called Leftovers, but it’s older and hasn’t been updated in forever, and I cringe at some of the early art, so if you track it down, please don’t judge me too harshly…
