Do you prefer writing platonic or romance?

Platonic.

I love my romance and lovey dovey stuff. It has its value and I do like writing romance yanderes just on the basis of loving someone so much you resort to violence, manipulation, or any other ways romantic yanderes operate.

However, platonic is just super interesting to me. I mean, it's that obsessive feeling of care that is just shy of romance. Sure, I due use the theme of infantilization in my platonic yandere works, but I don't use it in every single one. I like writing that feeling that of intense friendship or familial love.

I also just don't see a lot of platonic yandere stuff and figured "screw it, if it doesn't exist then I'll make it exist!"

Indeed! Of course! <3 Thanks for your interest! Long answer: Broadly, I am a wildlife and rangeland ecologist and eco-physiologist. More specifically, I study birds (galliforms mainly, like quail, pheasants, grouse, turkey etc) and how internal (body condition, parasite load, etc) and external factors (winter weather, habitat availability, etc) influence their ecology and behavior. I also aim to educate and inspire the next generation of brilliant ecologists, wildlife biologists, and natural resource professionals. Short answer: I have a PhD and want to be a professor lol I have taken some time off academia (post-PhD and COVID burn out hollaaaaa) since I finished up a research position in Montana and I also wasn't ready to leave such a beautiful area, but I am (hopefully) making my way back to my true passion!

Hey sorry if this is weird, but I just wanted you to know that I read one of your oneshot fics back on tumblr in like, 2018? (Its Pictures of you, in your ao3 oneshot collection Close to you) And like I literally never stopped thinking it, it was one of my favorite fics that I read back then. And like I think I spend a few years mourning the fact that I had no idea how to find that fic again (because like, the account I read the fic on years ago had been long deactivated i would have no way to see what I read on that account)

But I realized today that I never bother to check ao3 and just filter the snowbaz tag by "drawing" and so I did that, and I found it and I still think it's really good and sweet and I don't know. I just want you to know that you had a effect on someone I guess lol
