Yeen Fact #772: "When a spotted-hyena cub is about two to six weeks old, mum literally picks it up by the scruff and carries it to the communal den, sometimes travelling a kilometre or more like the world's grumpiest plush toy. The 'mouth to den' taxi service lets cubs start life in a small private burrow and then graduate to a bigger, safer crèche once they're old enough to hang out with the neighbours."
