This absolutely captivating 2-minute video features Boeing’s two newest commercial aircraft -- the long-haul jumbo 787-10 Dreamliner and the short-haul compact 737 MAX 9 -- practicing their gracefully synchronized aerial ballet demonstration for the Paris Air Show 2017. (Runs from 19 to 25 June 2017).

The raw brain power, human ingenuity, and sheer will that went into the millions of man-hours it took to create these two finely-tuned commercial flying machines boggles the mind.

(Especially when your brain is already a bit addled during recovery from a brain hemorrhage. Ramping my engines up just a notch further nearly every day now. Hoping for a few test flights soon. Sorry, no aerial ballets, though!)

Not only do these two Boeing aircraft perform....they’re beautiful! I suspect many species of bird would envy these flying creations of man.

Air New Zealand orders eight Boeing 787-10s

Air New Zealand has signed an order for eight Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners worth $2.7 billion at list prices. The deal includes options for 12 more 787’s which could see the total order rise to 20 aircraft, as well as substitution rights which would allow the carrier to swap same 787-10s for 787-9s if required.

Emirates orders Airbus A330neos and A350s

Middle-eastern carrier Emirates has placed an order for 70 Airbus aircraft, which includes 40 A330-900 and 30 A350-900 aircraft.

The order comes following discussions regarding the airline’s A380 order, which resulted in the airline cancelling 39 of their pending A380’s for this order. The change has also prompted the announcement of the closure of the Airbus A380 production line.
