Friday! When you work 7 days a week you would think Friday is just another day but the feeling of Friday is different! Friday still means WEEKEND! A chance to hit the road, head to the beach, find a new trail, enjoy a race weekend, catch up with friends and family, do a little yard work, run to Costco, unwind with a glass of wine at the end of the day. Weekend stuff. And work takes the back burner for a day or two. You're still working, just on a different schedule and that in itself is a huge break! That little break in routine - and taking time to organize my studio and my thoughts! - keeps me going and makes my Monday even more productive! Dinner & Lunch

Tonight I made myself a pb&j for dinner. Then, since I’m poor and haven’t been grocery shopping in like a week I decided to make another one to take for lunch(I work 3rd).

Like halfway through making the second one I decided I was still hungry so I figured I’d just eat the second one as well and make a third.

Then I decided I might as well make 2 sandwiches for lunch since I was clearly hungry enough to eat 2 for dinner.

TL;DR: I spent an entire fucking hour making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches tonight.
