So I’ve been having a weird thought since I woke up. What if a toddler began to follow Meliodas around calling him papa? When Meliodas tries to get the child to stay with the town or village she came from she stuck to his side like she was glued there. The villagers all would say that the child was abandoned and has been living on the streets. Deciding to accept the fact that this child had attached herself to him, he takes her in.

I wonder how you think the others would react to this?

Like, why are you following him around? What about him reminds you of your father (or anything vaguely father shaped)? Where did you come from? Why has no one picked you off the street yet?

But since he can’t just leave you out there to fend for yourself (and for some reason you won’t leave his side no matter what), he decides to take you in (at least, temporarily)

Realistically, there’s no way he’s raising you long term

Guy doesn’t have enough responsible bones in his body to take care of someone that young

Not to mention, being a demon, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, and just having a lot of enemies is clearly not conducive to 

But for the few days you’re in his care at the Boar Hat are probably some of the most fun you’ll ever have

You get to eat all the good food you want (if Ban’s around), stay up super late, and have all the patrons fawn over you for a few days!

In the end, he makes sure you’re taken in by a nice family that’ll raise you right and let him come visit every now and then

It’s was really hard saying bye to you since you’re so young and couldn’t understand why you were being left behind again, but he knew that this was what was best for you (and that’s all he can really hope for)

“Where is she?”

The flaps of the commanders tent open to reveal Meliodas, his brows scrunched with confusion as he peers around the space, clearly looking for someone. His great sword is still strapped to his back, fresh from a recent battle he won to the surprise of nobody. The three generals inside the tent—two humans and a fairy—are gathered around a map scattered with different little pieces to represent their armies and the ones of their enemies. They’re spread out in such a way that it’s hard to tell if one or the other has the upper hand.

“Who, sir?” One of the human generals asks.

The other smacks his breastplate, a knowing smirk on his face. “The goddess, obviously.”

Meliodas nods. “I’ve looked all over camp but I don’t see her. Do you know where she is?”

The fairy hums. “I think last I heard she was heading to some place in the west. Around here?” He floats down towards the map and puts his finger on a little village. One that’s completely surrounded by dark purple figures.

Meliodas feels something in his chest sink as he looks at that map. The area the fairy pointed to had been blocked off by Stigma troops because it became so overrun with demons that nobody was able to get in—it was too dangerous. He remembers how upset you’d been when the order to not go near the west had been announced earlier that day.

“There are still people there! People who need our help. I can do it, I can save them.” You had protested.

You’d been shot down instantly. Everyone told you it wasn’t worth the risk and that you’d die if you tried, including him. He’d made you promise you wouldn’t attempt anything before he left on a recon mission. You looked him in the eyes and told him what he wanted to hear; he should’ve known better than to trust your word. You’ve always been too kind, too willing to put others before yourself, and now you’ve done it again. Perhaps for the last time.

Fear surges up inside of Meliodas so fast he feels dizzy. He curses loudly before turning on his heel and running out of the tent. As soon as he’s outside, his wings of darkness are unfolding behind him and he’s blasting into the sky. He feels the worried gazes of comrades down below, wondering what sent him into such a frenzy, but he’s gone so quickly that no one can linger on it.

He’s never doubted your abilities, he knows how strong you are. But he also knows when and where to pick battles and he knows that this is far too much for you. The closer he gets, the more he can feel you, his second half. He can feel how much you’re struggling, how quickly your strength is diminishing. It makes him use his power to boost him forward, the wind blasting against his body.

He just hopes he’s not too late.

Blood is sticky on your skin.

You have no idea what’s yours and what’s the demons’ anymore.

Massive, hulking bodies lay strewn all around you and yet when one goes down, it seems there’s two more to replace it. You don’t know how long you’ve been fighting for, your mind instead focused solely on the survivors that huddle in the safety of a small ditch behind you. There’s only four of them—a man, a woman, and two children. None of them are related but they’re the only ones who managed to survive the massacre that happened throughout the area.

You wish you could’ve gotten here sooner, that you could’ve done more. You wish Stigma would’ve been more generous with their troops instead of giving up immediately, deeming this spot unworthy of their help. You also wish you were stronger so that the endless onslaught of demons wasn’t so daunting and you weren’t on the brink of collapse.

You can’t even escape anymore, your wings long since cut and torn, blood turning the white feathers red. Your only choice now is to stay and fight until whatever bitter end is going to meet you and hope the demons will be too focused on your corpse to notice the survivors.

You explode a demon in a flash of golden light, sweeping an arc of power through another. Their roars are deafening against your ears, their steps thundering against the ground beneath you and making your already shaky stance even shakier.

You know you should’ve listened, everybody told you the risks weren’t worth it. But leaving innocent people to die at the hands of the demons without even trying to save them didn’t sit right with you. You’d only told a few when you left, word no doubt spreading quickly across the camp. You were gone by the time anyone could stop you, heading out entirely on your own on what many would call a suicide mission. Even Meliodas had told you to stay put earlier, giving you that stern look of his as he did.

You have no doubt that he’s angry at you and you wonder if he’s back from his own mission yet. If he’s learned of your fate.

You’re torn from your thoughts when one misstep puts you in the hands of a gray demon. You let out a choked yell as the thing roughly grabs you by your wings, bunching them together and crushing them further. You wriggle and squirm as you’re lifted higher and higher, your chest heaving with the effort and pain. You try so desperately to ignite your powers but all you get is a few golden sparks at your fingertips. You’ve used everything you have.

Tears mix with the blood and soot on your face, blurring your vision so you can barely even see the thing about to deliver your death. It stares at you curiously, its teeth clicking together at the prospect of a tasty meal. Some of the demons around it grumble and whine, wanting some for themselves. It’s like being dangled above a pit of hungry lions, all ready to tear you apart.

Just as the gray demon’s mouth opens, its attention shifts to something in the sky. There’s a surge of dark power so strong you can feel it in your core, the hair along your arms rising. Then, in the blink of an eye, the demon that holds you is split in half. It lets out a guttural, pitiful moan as it begins to fall, its clawed hand releasing you at last. You barely even register the fact that you’re falling, your consciousness hardly holding on from the pain drumming throughout your body. You just manage to see all the other demons around you suffer the same fate—a clean slash through their middles that sizzle afterwards with black fire.

You prepare for the ground to meet you, to obliterate the rest of your bones, but you fall into familiar, strong arms instead. You manage to blink through your tears and look up to see Meliodas, his green eyes full of concern while he takes in your sorry state. “Just in time, huh?” He says gently, a sort of sad expression on his face. You know how much he hates seeing you hurt, and how much he hates the fact you did this without him. He sighs. “We need to get out of here before the demons regroup.”

“Wait- the survivors-“ you choke out, no longer having the strength to do anything else.

Meliodas turns to look at the four peeking their heads out of the ditch who found safety in the fact that the roars of the demons have finally gone quiet. They seem wary of him when he walks up to them and he finds he has little patience when you’re actively dying in his arms. He bluntly tells them of a safe path to the east, one that will lead them to a camp that’s full of soldiers and other survivors. Once he at least makes sure they’re heading the right way, he jumps into the sky and begins his flight back to the Stigma base.

Meliodas holds you tightly while being careful of your multitude of injuries. His warmth is a welcome comfort, one that allows you to relax just the slightest bit.

As soon as he lands back in the Fairy Kings Forest, he’s demanding a healer and buckets of water. When people see your sorry state, they’re quick to listen. You’re brought to a quiet, secluded area lush with soft flower beds and shade provided by the trees, away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the camp. Meliodas lays you down gently, your head propped up on his legs while a fellow goddess kneels down beside you. A soft golden glow emanates from her hands, spreading warmth throughout your body as her powers slowly but surely heal you.

Your breathing becomes easier, the massive gashes along your limbs steadily close. Meliodas tries to wipe off as much of the blood and grime as he can in the meantime, using gentle movements with a warm rag as you lay there. It’s all very peaceful, a needed respite after the hell you’d gone through.

You’re not sure how much time passes before the goddess is finished. You only notice when the hum of her powers disappears. “There, she should be fully healed. She’ll just need plenty of rest and nutrients in order to make a full recovery.”

“I’ll make sure it gets done. Thank you.” Meliodas replies with a nod. The goddess gives a small bow before taking her leave.

There’s an uneasy silence that stretches between the two of you, heavy with the words waiting to be said. You keep your eyes closed as if that will make it go away. You’re more than content with lying there in the flowers and forgetting how much of a failure you were today. But that’s not an option, of course.

“I told you not to go there.” Meliodas begins, his voice uneasy with his emotions. “Everyone knew it was too dangerous. Including you.”

You huff a breath through your nose, finally opening your eyes to meet his. “Mel… you know I couldn’t just leave it. We need to try and help everyone we can during this war or else there won’t be anything left.”

“That territory is basically like a dead zone because of how overrun it is. You were insane to go there alone for only four people.” He insists.

“Yes but that’s four people who will get to live another day, who may make the decision to join the cause and help us.” You retort. You take his calloused hand into yours, his thumb instantly rubbing along the back of your hand soothingly. “I know it was reckless of me and I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have worried everyone- worried you like that.”

He looks at you for a moment, tracing your features with his eyes. He sighs in defeat and you smile, knowing you’ve won. He leans down to kiss you, the messy blond strands of his hair tickling your face. The kiss is quick and sweet, simply a confirmation that you’re still here. He straightens himself and holds your cheeks lovingly in his hands. His head tilts. “Promise me next time you decide to do something so stupid you’ll bring me along?”

You laugh, taking one of his hands and bringing his knuckles to your lips. “I promise.”

What will the two versions do for the human reader? (Romantic)

He is so strong that he won't attack you. Of course, he would have been hostile at the first meeting, but he would have had no choice but to fall in love with your loveliness. Of course, seeing that you are very weak, he... Well, he will laugh at you.

Does he beg for love? Will he fall in love? Is he an obsession?

I can't make a definite idea, but I can say that it's a bit like a miyeonshi. I hope he raises his favorability to 10000%!

This Meliodas is easy but difficult.

First of all, Meliodas itself has a strong possessiveness and an instinct to protect, so once you get hurt, he will absolutely kill the person who attacked you mercelessly.

I think that version of Meliodas looks like a combination of a cat and a dog lol

He won't say anything, but I think he will express his love with actions (hug, kiss, make eye contact, hug your waist...)

He will just be close to you. If his partner is not by your side even for a while, he will instinctively feel anxious.

I hope that he will gather the magical power that he can handle freely in his arms and transform it into dark purple wings to wrap you. When you feel cold and various ways to use it as a shield to protect you, how about expressing love in this way? Isn't it good?

-“Don’t touch that.”

-Mael sees where he is coming from but thinks rossa is taking it to an absurd level.

-“…it might be sick, dear. You shouldn’t get too close.”

-You’ll sometimes will be cuddling all together.

-Though Rossa glares at Mael occasionally when Mael just returns a small nervous smile, he can see Rossa’s point of view very well, so obviously he isn’t angry at rossa.

“Mm, stop moving around too much, sweetheart.” Estarossa speaks in a rather dark tone to scare you slightly. He chuckles softly as he sees you immediately stop moving on top of his body.

“Estarossa, you shouldn’t mess with them like this.” Mael gently rubs your waist in an attempt of comfort as he frowns at Estarossa a little worriedly.

Estarossa just snickers in return then he pulls you closer and wraps his arms around you in a big hug, cutting Mael’s access to your body.

Mael’s eyes narrow as he tries to get Estarossa’s embrace to break by pulling his arm, Estarossa doesn’t budge as he feels you squirm around in his arms and whine in a muffled way.

“Estarossa!” Mael glares at Estarossa as he keeps pulling. Estarossa just laughs as he slightly moves his arms down to let you get your head out of his grip.

You huff out as you finally breathe peacefully, Mael stops pulling Estarossa’s arm as he gently kisses your forehead. Estarossa rolls his eyes then kisses your cheek while holding you still just as tightly.

“Too tight..” You complained which made Mael grow more worried while Estarossa laughed and loosened his grip around you.

Mael picked you off of Estarossa’s lap and set you on his own as Estarossa snickered and rolled his eyes again, seemingly careless yet you could tell he was jealous. You wrapped your arms around Mael’s neck and kissed his lips in a soft, small kiss, making him smile slightly as he sets his hands on your waist gently.

Estarossa glared at you two before closing his eyes. You giggled as you let go of Mael’s neck then leaned to Rossa and pressed a kiss on his lips as well. Mael chuckled at the scene as Estarossa was seemingly pleasant and cocky now. You returned to Mael’s lap fully before closing your eyes and resting your chin on his shoulder. Mael started to rub your waist in a comforting manner as you felt your consciousness slowly fade away.

night descends briefly after the incident at the town’s square, which leaves the boar hat ready to be up and running for business. the tavern is especially packed with the amount of people choosing to treat themselves to a drink or two in order to loosen up.

“a toast to the owners of the boar hat!!”

“cheers!!”

while the atmosphere is cheery, not everyone is sharing that same sentiment. exhibit a: elizabeth.

“um… i’m... not sure if i’ll be any good. it’s my first time doing something like this,” the princess stammers, her fingers nervously fidgeting with the frills of her apron’s hem. “my heart is pounding…”

“ah, first time jitters, eh? don’t sweat it elizabeth, you’ll do fine! just make sure not to spill anything on the customers, ‘kay? these bunch can be a bit rowdy..” meliodas holds up an encouraging thumbs up, grinning assuringly to try and ease her mind.

“he’s right, princess. i’m sure these set of customers would be understanding since it’s your first day on the job. just try not to make a habit of fumbling things, okay?”

gulping nervously, the princess nods. sweat rips own her brow and she’s unsure whether it’s just her or if it’s gotten far too stuffy within the tavern. maybe she should open a window...

seriously, there isn’t any reason for you to be so hot and bothered,” hawk chimes in, snorting softly as he nudged his head against her calf. “you don’t even have to worry about gathering intel. just focus on your waitressing for today!”

“i see… i suppose that does make me feel less anxious. thank you hawk.” elizabeth flashes a small weary smile that doesn’t quite reach her eyes but seems to hold gratitude within it as well.

“remember, the most important thing to do when serving customers is to be relaxed.”

“right! i’ll be relaxed!”

you smile softly at her enthusiasm before heading into the kitchen to get started on the meal prep and the likes.

you had high hopes in elizabeth that things would go smoothly on her end— however, it doesn’t take long for you three to come to the joint conclusion that elizabeth isn’t really good at being a server…

none of you can exactly blame her; it’s not like royals get taught how to waitress, right?

although you had tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, you can’t help but wince every time she either got an order wrong or spilled the order on the floor. it’s clear that her nerves are getting the best of her and she’s getting a little overwhelmed with this experience.

“mel, i think you should handle serving the customers for now. we’ll have to teach her how to waitress another time...” you suggest, watching in worry as elizabeth profusely apologized to a table after getting their drinks wrong. thankfully, they weren’t too bothered and merely laughed it off, telling her to be more careful.

“yeah, good call” meliodas nods in agreement, stepping away from the alcohol station. “yo, el! take five. i’ll handle things here for now.”

elizabeth’s shoulders drooped and a sullen expression made its way onto her face but she listens and steps back to let meliodas take over what she was doing. she wants to feel helpful and can’t shake this feeling that she hasn’t been doing much since she joined you guys. she almost got all three of you killed and didn’t even contribute in helping the people of vanya, so the least she could do was help around the tavern, right?

meliodas notices how her eyes turn overcast as he walks up and gives her hip a gentle pat. “you’re all good, el. we just think you should observe us for now; it was wrong of us to put you up to this with no prior training. you’ve done great so far so just take a breather, yeah?”

“alright…” she muttered and trudged away to a corner in the back of the room next to the door. coincidentally, mead and that older lady from the village were there too. she hadn’t even noticed.

“you really aren’t good at this waitressing thing, are you?” mead taunted, which caused elizabeth to lower her head in embarrassment.

“no… it’s my first day…” she whispered.

“mead!” the older lady next to him grabbed his ear, tugging at it. “don’t say such rude things! keep this up and i’ll send you to the forest of white dreams if you keep this up!”

her threat caused the much younger boy to pale and clam up, his posture straightening up immediately. “i—i’ll behave! i promise! just don’t send me there!”

at his reaction, elizabeth tilts her head curiously. “the forest of white dreams? what is that?”

“it’s this really scary forest that’s covered in such a thick fog that travellers and even holy knights steer clear of!” mead answers, shuddering at the thought of being left there.

“rumours have it that there’re monsters there, too! ugh, i’m getting the chills just thinking about it…”

“that does sound menacing… but it also provides an excellent hiding spot..” elizabeth muttered to herself.

the old lady hummed in response. “i suppose you’re right, dear. many criminals can escape and find refuge there because they know that not even a holy knight will want to go in there. but, it’s very easy to get lost.”

“i see..” the princess nods, tucking away that information in the back of her mind. ‘i think i might’ve just found a very crucial clue.. but i can’t be too sure just yet..’

APPROXIMATELY 7 MILES OF VANYA VILLAGE : FORT SOLGRES

“m—moments ago, we received a report from our soldiers stationed in vanya. an unidentified girl pulled out your sword… and she was accompanied by an unidentified boy, your majesty..” a young knight stammers out as his eyes flit between the paper reports in his hands and his superior.

“i think it must’ve been some random fluke that let the girl—“

“a fluke let her remove a sword a holy knight thrust into the ground? a sword that i thrust in the ground?” gilthunder questions, rising from his desk abruptly. throwing him a sharp glare, the king’s consort begins walking up a set of stairs.

the young knight shrinks back from his icy gaze, sweat beading at his forehead. he feared that his slip up might have him hanging in the gallows. “n—no! that’s not what I meant at all!”

gilthunder ignores him and continues walking until he was at the tower’s window; the knights that stand guarding the area immediately straighten their backs.

“we hail the sun of the kingdom!”

gilthunder merely waves off their greeting. “give me vanya’s range and heading. be exact.”

“it lies to the fort’s four o’clock, 7.3 miles away, your majesty.”

he nods his head in thought and eyes the spears the two hold in their hands. “would you two mind lending me your spears?”

“not at all, your majesty.”

“feel free to use them as you wish.”

taking the spears in his armoured hand gilthunder stalks towards the tower’s window.

“it should be about this angle...” he mutters to himself, holding one of the spears over his shoulder and infusing his magic into it. he takes a couple of steps back and quickly builds momentum before chucking the spear; he waits for a moment before the other one spear follows suit.

“that should do it.”

as you wipe down the kitchen counter, you can’t help but feel a shiver run down your spine; the muscles in your shoulders clamp up uncomfortably and a sinking feeling pools in your gut. you place down the rag in your hand, your eyes furrowing as you try to decipher what exactly is causing this reaction.

‘something’s heading our way…’

“oi, shouldn’t one of you go after her? elizabeth just walked out.” hawk huffed, his voice breaking you out of your thoughts.

“she did? I didn’t notice...” you trail off, removing your apron and rounding the counter. “i’ll go check up on her.”

pushing open the tavern’s door, you step into the chilly night and spot the princess seated not too far away on, her head tilted back as she stares up at the cloudy, starless sky.

“hey, are you feeling alright, elizabeth?”

“ah, lady y/n...” she turns her head back to look at you, an apologetic glint in her eyes. “i’m sorry. i know i’m still on shift, but the villagers were getting a bit rowdy… i guess i got overwhelmed…”

“oh.. you should go up and get some rest, then.” you place a gentle hand on her shoulder.

she shakes her head in disagreement, looking down at her lap with a bitter expression on her face. “i shouldn’t. this is no time to be wallowing in my own weakness and self pity.”

“hey, none of that. it’s alright to be overwhelmed in situations you’re not used to. you’ve been through a lot as it stands; a little rest will do you some good.”

“but so many people are suffering under the oppression of the holy knights. i can’t afford to dally around with everything at stake. if their princess can’t even handle a little waitressing, their chances look bleak.”

a sigh escapes your lips as you plop down and take seat next to her. “it seems that you’ve already forgotten the amount of danger and strain you put yourself through just to make sure your journey wasn’t for naught. in the end, you stumbled into the boar hat and found meliodas and i, didn’t you? all by yourself no less.”

her shoulders slump a little. “i suppose you’re right.. but still, it’s a bit pathetic of me to be doing all the whining when you and sir meliodas have been doing most of the heavy lifting…”

“hey, if you hadn’t wanted to help your people and taken this risk of looking for us, they’d have no chance at all.”

“i suppose you’re right…”

“it’s getting late, so go rest up, alright? mel and i will give you a proper demo tomorrow.”

she releases a small, tired yawn before getting up and brushing off her shorts. “alright, then. good night, lady y/n..”

“good night, elizabeth.” you wave her off as she opens the door to the tavern and steps inside.

suddenly, a spear speeds towards you at a fast pace. you brace yourself, placing a strain on your lower body as you grab onto it; the force that it carries pushes you off the hill the boar hat was perched on and down to the village. you break through numerous houses as you struggle to find purchase and slow down the spear’s rotation.

“fuck..!”

“lady y/n!!” elizabeth gasps, whipping back around and peering over the edge of the hill. to make matters worse, another spear was quickly showing face.

meliodas rushes out but is too late in grabbing it. “shit..!” he sprints toward the town, and the princess goes to follow him.

“don’t you dare! stay back, elizabeth!”

she looks between meliodas’ retreating figure and the chaos that was ensuing in the village below. “oh, stars… please guide us…”

the right sleeve of your shirt rips as whoever’s magical power that was infused in this thing singes it off. with great effort, you turn around and dig your feet into the ground in an attempt to stop getting thrown backwards.

your body skids to a stop after you put a little more weight on your lower body. after this you turn back around and angle your arm, taking a few steps forward to gather momentum before reeling your arm back and throwing the spear.

you sigh in relief, straightening up your posture. “god.. what the hell was that about..?”

“n/n!! watch out!”

you whip around to see meliodas sprinting at you with beads of sweat dripping down the side of his face. you look up and see another spear heading straight for you.

‘shit! i don’t have enough time to catch it—!’

you’re unsure of how to handle this situation and struggle to figure out what position to get into. but you didn’t need to think for that long before lucifer makes another appearance.

the giant serpent takes the spear into his teeth, the sharp fangs grinding against the metal in a cacophony similar to nails on a chalk board.

once the grinding stops, lucifer spits out the spear and licks his lips. “you needn’t stress about things like this, mistress. i’m here to protect you, am i not?”

you can’t help but smile. “thank you, lucifer. it seems that you’re always saving my ass.”

“that is my duty as your most humble servant,” the python bows his head before vanishing into thin air.

meliodas stops by your side, looking over you with worry. “are you alright?! your hand’s bleeding—“

you cut him off with a playful ruffling of his hair. “i’m fine, mel. but we can’t afford to say here any longer. we need to move.”

gilthunder is absentmindedly looking over the stack of papers on his desk, his head being propped up by his fist.

he barely had anytime to react when one of the spear’s he’d thrown crashed into the fort through the window, destroying the building in the process.

a screen of dust kicks up as holy knights yell over the debris trying to locate each other and the pink haired man.

gilthunder sits with his head slightly tilted to the left, a light cut on his right cheek that had a single bead of blood dripping down his porcelain skin. the spear is lodged into the headrest of his hair and although could’ve easily died from that, an eerily sinister grin etches itself onto his face.

“it’s just as i thought; you’re still alive, captains of the eight deadly sins... y/n. meliodas.”

“sir meliodas! lady y/n!” elizabeth calls out in worry as she runs towards you two with hawk following at her side.

“didn’t i tell you to stay inside?” meliodas grumbled.

“that’s besides the point! that spear belonged to the holy knight who attacked the village, right?” she asked, panting slightly as she tries to catch her breath.

“yeah. it was also our hint to leave the village as soon as possible,” you wipe your bloody hand against your shorts shirt.

“so soon? what if the village is attacked again after we leave?” she asks in concern, looking towards the villagers who were trying to make sense of the current destruction.

“they’ll be in way more danger if we remain as we are, elizabeth.”

her shoulders slump in defeat. “ugh..”

“it’d be nice if we had a place to hide,” hawk sighs, not liking the prospect of moving around so quickly.

elizabeth perks up now. “oh, right.. now that you mention it...”

you all turn to her, giving your undivided attention.

“earlier when i was taking a break, mead and that older woman said something about a really eerie forest that even the holy knights steer clear of. they called it the ‘forest of white dreams’.”

“really?”

“mhm! apparently the thick fog and unstable terrain of the ground is hard for people to navigate through. travellers avoid it altogether. he also said there were monsters..”

“that sounds perfect! it seems like you’re a natural at this intel gathering stuff, princess!” you clap your hands, a grin settling on your face.

“..are we going to skip over the part about monsters..?” hawk deadpans.

you guys ignore his concerns, already making plans to gather as many supplies as possible before daybreak.

“you guys suck.”

“well, if it makes you feel better, hawk, we’ll be going there for business purposes.”

“what the hell does that even mean?” the pig queries.

“in concerns to our journey of course. i know you’re slow, but c’mon pick up the pace.”

you and elizabeth facepalm as the other two begin to bicker again.

“enough! what lady y/n meant to imply is that one of sins probably lives there” elizabeth snaps, her patience with the two having worn thin.

meliodas and hawk shrink back, exchanging nervous glances. you have to admit, she is pretty intimidating when she wants to be. you almost forgot she managed to go months without getting caught in that rusty armour of hers and also outran fully trained holy knight apprentices an hour after getting over her fever. this girl isn’t weak at all and it seems you all need to keep that in mind more.

“alright, that’s enough of that. let’s go find out next sin!”
