7mm Spanish Mauser Stock Project

I won't be getting to this stock until I'm done with the Mosin but I'm really into this gun stock like you have no idea. 

I think it'll look beautiful once it's sanded down and redone, because right now the grain really doesn't pop the way I wish it would. 

We got a sandblaster built now as well (and got over a ton of blasting media on the cheap) but it needs some finishing touches and a blasting box needs to be built so we stop blowing media all over the neighborhood. But the metal parts that came out of this stock will get blasted and recoated (either blued or duracoated or something similar, maybe parkerized, hasn't really been talked about much) and maybe popped back into this babe. 

Look how that grain sparkles in the sun. I need to highlight that something fierce.
