Today I have 7 months sober

if you’re struggling with addiction never feel that it’s ever too late for you or that you’re too ‘far gone’ to get clean.

there are many people who struggle with addiction for years, decades, sometimes even the majority of their lives and eventually manage to recover. there is no amount of time you can be an addict for that makes recovery impossible for you in the future. as long as you’re alive getting clean is still possible.

really sad, missing that feeling a lot- being high I mean- crazy that I can still have these debates in my head like “I’ll lose everything and everyone I care about, I will be miserable and possibly never get sober again, I would have no legal way to support my habit $700+ a month habit that would only get more expensive, the past year will have been worthless… but God it would feel so good”
