uh oh is 7rophyâs latest effort, an attempt at a summer hit. itâs not that, but it is an intriguing track with a boom bap style, incorporating a 90s vibe into the groupâs signature sound.

BIOGRAPHY

If you asked their mother, she would say milk was born determined. bullheaded, really, but not incapable of those great things they aspired to. when they discovered music, the creation of it, and the feeling of completeness it was able to give, they never wavered in their pursuit of the art. writing songs was the norm by the time they were ten, and their lyric notebooks filled up ever quickly. songs about hopes, dreams, aspirations and love they wouldnât know for years yet were the most common by far.
if you asked their father, milk grew up to be passionate. so passionate they left home at just thirteen. their voice and sincerity were a quick draw to dimensions and they passed an open audition with flying colors. in south korea, they continued their pursuit, writing songs, bettering their voice and learning new skills. for four years they trained and finally, finally they debuted with a girl group. they werenât an instant success by any means, but they got by with a little recognition. it would be late in their careers that 7rophy would start to approach their peak, and as much as milk was excited about it, they noted that other membersâ lyrics and compositions were favored heavily over theirs. what had they worked so hard for, if not to have their own songs heard?
if you asked their brother, milk became unknowable. years passed and familial contact became rarer and rarer. in 2020 they discovered their father was in poor health, having had a major stroke that left him with partial paralysis. their parents had agreed to keep it from them, but their brother had made no such promise. seeing his sibling seemingly living in luxury, an angry phone call clued them in and an immediate sense of guilt weighed heavy.
if you asked them, milk would say theyâre lost. far from home, foreign, a main vocalist silenced. between trying to repair their familial relationships and trying to flourish in an industry that feels more interested in pushing them down than letting them soar, you could say they have a lot going on at the moment. theyâre still writing, still singing, still trying their hardest, but theyâre at a point where they arenât certain this is something they want - theyâd always wanted to be a singer-songwriter, not an idol, and a diagnosis of autism made it all the more clear why they had such trouble with the rougher parts of idol life.

BIOGRAPHY
triggers: injuries? (do they count as a trigger?)
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Yoon Seola was expected to be a star from the moment she was born. She had always been an intelligent child, gifted if her parents would dare say so themselves. After all, Seolaâs father was a figure skating coach in Canada, while her mother was a former ballerina. Meanwhile, her older sister was also an overachiever of some sort, so it only made sense that Seola was expected to achieve great things as well. As she was old enough to start understanding things, Seola had dabbled in many things such as academics, theater, and the two things she would come to love the most: music and figure skating.
Despite taking lessons with her dad ever since she was four, Seola began skating competitively in 2008 after seeing Kim Yuna on TV. At the time, she wanted to be the second Korean woman to win a medal for the country. She began competing on the domestic scale and a few minor international level competitions. Despite winning a few medals at minor competitions, there were other girls better than she was that she still had yet to represent the country in major competitions.
Seola continued to train and grow, and her dreams grew even bigger after Kim Yuna won the gold medal at the Vancouver Olympics. In August 2011, during the South Korea Trials for Junior Grand Prix, Seola placed 1st in the short program, and things were looking up for her. Unfortunately, she fell badly during the free skate, injuring both her hip and back in the process. Despite persistent hip and back pain, she pushed to compete anyway. When she had her back and hip checked after the competition, she was told that she had to give up skating if she wanted her back to recover properly.
The end of her skating dream had been the end of the world for Seola, until her mother had recommended that she takes up singing and dancing as a new hobby. Without thinking much of it, Seola had agreed. Mostly because she already had prior ballet training as a figure skater. What Seola didnât expect was to discover that she can actually sing. As she learned to sing and dance, Seola never expected to actually fall in love with performing. Itâs almost like a dream for her.
In 2012, Seola and her family had been on vacation in Korea when a Dimensions casting agent approached both Seola and her cousin. While her cousin jumped on it immediately, Seola hadnât actually considered a showbiz career. After all, Seola had plans of being a lawyer or a broadcaster. However, this is a chance not many people often get, so Seola agreed to give it a go.
To her surprise, Seola actually passed the auditions. Although her cousin didnât pass this time, they were still genuinely proud and happy for Seola all the same. Seola can only wish it was the same for her parents, who wanted her to enter a high-powered career as an adult. With this opportunity in hand, Seolaâs parents had agreed to let her go, on the condition that she finished her education and got a college diploma.
To fulfill the end of her promise to her parents, Seola enrolled at Hanlim Arts High School for her final year of high school and juggled both being a trainee and a student at Sungkyunkwan University. Thankfully, not many people knew who she was, so she didnât have to entertain too many questions.
Uprooting her whole life from Canada to Korea had been a major life decision for Seola to take, and the difference in culture was something to get used to. Thankfully, Seolaâs background as an athlete has somewhat equipped her to be competitive, yet friendly with the other trainees in the company. There was a lot she had to work on, but she wanted to see this through. She braved every challenge, evaluation, and struggle that came her way. Seola was an athlete, so she had expected the trainers to be military sergeants. Regardless, she was determined to be the best there ever was.
Other than hard work and discipline, another skill Seola had taken from her student-athlete days to her student-trainee days was the importance of camaraderie and teamwork. Although competition for a spot in a future Dimensions girl group was intense, Seola went out of her way to be friendly and helpful to those with problems singing and dancing. She was the youngest child at home, so being a supportive younger sister to the older trainees is nothing new to her. However, being the older sister figure to the newer and younger trainees that came after she did was a new and interesting feeling.
To be honest, debut comes as both a relief and newly added pressure to Seola. Especially after her parents have been begging her to quit being an idol and go back to the plans they had before she auditioned. Seola knew what she was good at, but it surprises her that she gets to be the groupâs leader as well as the main dancer and lead vocal. However, 7rophyâs lack of immediate success has led to Seolaâs parents trying to convince her to leave the group and pursue a proper, better-paying career almost every time she talks to them. Every time they had a spark of hope that they finally struck gold, they ended up moving several steps backward. The girls of 7ROPHY deserve better than this, and Seola couldnât help but feel that this was her fault. She failed the group as a leader and that she should have done better for them, even if she had no idea what that entailed. Seola wasnât stupid, and she had heard of those disbandment rumors. Honestly, she couldnât blame them. After all, they couldnât produce the results 7ROPHY wanted and deserved. She would never admit it to anyone, but she was beginning to see the merit of her parentsâ advice.
Seolaâs not a quitter, and thankfully, their effort as members of 7ROPHY have begun to pay off. Thankfully, they finally seemed to be getting their stride after achieving their first win with âLatataâ. She also graduated from college in 2019, which is a year or two longer than what her parents would have liked. In her time with Dimensions, Seola hadnât exactly been pushed into the spotlight compared to the other girls. Honestly, her parents nagged her about this more than the groupâs lack of success. No matter what she does, itâs like sheâll never be good enough. Other than a music video role and a song feature with MARS, everything she has expressed interest in doing outside of group activities â acting, musicals, OSTs, and variety shows â have been denied to her for various reasons. She supposed it was mostly to pacify MARSâ angry fangirls who were sick of seeing her face or the company thought she was a liability; she didnât really know. It was hard staying at home while watching the rest of the group getting to do their individual activities. Honestly, Seola wondered where she went wrong in her life to be denied anything she asked for herself.
Because of this, she has more free time compared to some of the other girls. While she prepares for her moment to shine, Seola is trying to take on a more active role behind the scenes as she learns more about choreography and songwriting. Unfortunately, Seola is being denied opportunities in these endeavors at the moment. She knows she has something left to prove, but she has no clue what that something is.
Even after Queendom, Seola still finds herself struggling to allow the company to give her an identity outside the group. As the leader, Seola is willing to sacrifice her individual glory for the groupâs benefit. However, she also wishes for her shining moment to finally come.

Raised as a princess, grown into a Rebel; that is Cho Yuju. Her tale begins tragic when her mother is too much of an ignorant new rich to allow the genuine care a grandmother wishes to bestow upon her second grandchild, thus cutting the ropes to any possible family bonding she could have had. Instead young Yuju travels from school to school, spending Primary in Kyoto, Japan and moving to Nova Scotia, Canada for Junior High. Torn from friend group to friend group, the child grows up as a lonely extrovert and finds herself most at ease with Canadian humor and culture. Picking up games in Japan and the Streaming culture in Canada, the young Korean decides to start her own channel on a whim and had high hopes of becoming a veteran streamer on twitch with a solid fanbase of at least 300.000 followers.
How would someone like herself begin a journey in the grand city jungles of Seoul? Easy. For the mere reason of gaining freedom. Grown up sheltered and protected by her motherâs expectations and guidance, the only thing this teenager seeks is the freedom to do whatever she wishes to do. The wink of fate comes when her half cousin gains popularity after a long path filled with struggles. Her grandmother is no other than the one whom Kwon Jiyeon values and holds so high. Only hearing of that knowledge when her parents suddenly boost with being related to a celebrity, young Yuju decides to see for herself just how nice that cousin of hers is.
After a legendary fallout with her parents which she still refuses to talk about to anyone, the young hopeful finds herself on her way to Seoul right before her last year in high school begins and appears before their grandmotherâs door, claiming herself as her lost granddaughter. Never one to turn away family and too much of a soft heart to say no, it thus turns out that Cho Yuju lived under her grandmotherâs care and only slowly opens herself up to the idea of having a family again. So it turns out that out of spite towards her parents distrust in her skills and her capability of holding her own, the young girl auditioned for the same company her brother debuted under the same year she returned to Daegu. Actually being offered a place to train under Dimensions it thus was her stubbornness and will for rebellion which made her parents sign their agreement with the promise sheâd never be welcome under their roof again.
Freshly signed just after new years 2014, the girl soon stumbles into a maze of training and finding friends, scrambling along eagerly to find ways to improve in every era open to her. Sheâs a fast learner, a quick thinker and a talented girl and only with a year of training under her belt she manages to debut with her best friend Yoojin by her side. 7ROPHYâs fluctuating success isnât anything sheâs particularly too concerned about as long as she gets to continue to stay by the side of her members, her second family. Eager to allow Dimensions to first push her as an OST singer and then a dancer, she doesnât mind putting in the extra work to give her group the additional bit of exposure. Simply hoping to have enough success for Dimensions not to get rid of them, Yuju continues to work hard and make sure they all have a journey filled with joy and laughter along the way. It isnât until after their appearance in Queendom that Dimensions actually considers turning her into a varietydol instead and as a former small streamer and mood maker, Yuzu is more than pleased to be let loose all the way.

BIOGRAPHY
trigger warning: parental death, car accidents, negligence
on a cold november evening in 1998, everything changed for a couple of childhood sweethearts. bringing a baby into the world was a difficult job, especially for two underprepared parents who were falling out of love. where ahn jaehyunâs parents tried to breathe life back into his sonâs marriage, kang sohyeâs berated their parenting styles from the beginning. while young, yoojin didnât understand what things were actually like between we parents. what three-year-old did? all she knew was that she was occasionally carted off to bed earlier than normal, and her parentâs voices began to raise.
a baby doesnât fix a marriage that wasnât working in the first place.
at the tender age of five, yoojin lost her mother. at the time, she hadnât known how to deal with it â looking back, yoojinâs not sure she ever dealt with in in the first place. no five-year-old knew what death was, and little yoojin didnât understand why her mother wasnât coming back. her father wasnât good at explaining why, either. if she looked back, yoojin would consider her both her parents lost that day. she would never hear the story of the fight her parents had gotten into that night, resulting in her mother leaving the house in the first place. trying to blow off some steam after yet another argument, sohye had left â but at the same time, another driver had taken to the road. yoojin later found out that a careless drunk driver had hit the driverâs side of sohyeâs car, while she was angrily speeding away to clear her head.
instead, yoojin lived much of her early life confused as to what happened. all she knew was that they had dressed in black and cried over a big box everyone had called a casket that apparently held her motherâs body. they wouldnât open the box, and yoojin vaguely remembers someone telling her that she needed to remember her mother as she was. yoojin cried for reasons she wasnât entirely sure of at the time, not understanding why her mother wasnât coming back and not grasping she was gone.
at five, everything changed for yoojin.
she doesnât know exactly when her father started dragging his feet. when he was no longer really there. after her motherâs death, yoojin isnât sure she remembers her father speaking much about what happened. he blamed himself, that much yoojin understood even back then. he would take her to and from school, from dance lessons when he needed to â but he rarely spoke. when he did, he would look at yoojin with this look that, to this day, yoojin doesnât know how to describe. maybe she looks too much like her mother for him. or maybe he wishes they had never stuck with her in the first place, then none of this wouldâve happened.
but, yoojin had never been sure. she tried not to think too much about what that look meant because things were hard enough. once she was tall enough to stand at the stove and cook, when she was old enough to take the bus by herself â she did. her father was a ghost walking around the house, and yoojin couldnât deal with it. at the age of ten, yoojin became more independent than any child should have to be. she did what she could to take care of herself, especially on days when her father wasnât really there at all. on days when he sat in his recliner with a faraway look in his eye, and yoojin knew she shouldnât speak to him.
dance was the only real escape she got. although yoojin wished her father would at least watch her dance recitals (he never showed up), yoojin mostly danced as a way to express herself and feel something. most of her early years were spent in ballet, tap, and jazz classes before she eventually took up her first hip-hop class at age ten. things changed from then on, and yoojin was able to get involved with a dance crew. it was through this she managed to get signed to dimensions in the first place. does yoojin know whether or not that was the best decision for herself? no, not really â but thatâs how she has gotten to where she is today.
it was on one fateful day that yoojin and her dance crew members were in a competition that just so happened to have a casting agent in the audience. yoojin didnât think much about it when someone approached her with a card in hand, but she certainly didnât expect to be someone attempting to scout her. her? of all people? yoojin didnât see herself as the idol type, and she still isnât sure she is. so, she summed it all up as a joke and moved on.
the first time.
the same casting agent popped up at a different competition and approached her once again with a card in hand. this time, yoojin wondered if there was something to it â that maybe they actually saw something in her. after some convincing from her members, yoojin decided to audition. it was just an audition, right â why not just give it a chance?
what came next felt like a whirlwind. yoojin auditioned, and unexpectedly managed to be offered a contract. getting permission from her father was easy, which yoojin still isnât sure how she feels about. when sheâd brought it up to her father, she had thought, or maybe wished, heâd say no â that heâd had some sort of reaction. but there was nothing, and he seemed more than okay with signing his daughter away to a basically unknown company. that heâd send his only daughter away with no knowledge of whether or not sheâd come back, what would happen â and yoojin knew her father wouldnât reach out to her after she was gone. adjusting was hard enough as she moved from changwon to seoul, especially as yoojin felt like she had no support system around her. contact was quickly lost with her dance crew who had their own things to worry about, and although she was able to chat with them from time to time it wasnât enough. although yoojin called home a lot as her trainee life began, she would just be talking to the voicemail box of her fatherâs phone with no real indication he was listening to the calls that came through. while she had hoped she would find comfort in performing, it quickly became another chore.
what âtalentâ yoojin had been scouted for felt like absolutely nothing compared to the other trainees, most of whom were able to sing, dance, and rap all at once. yoojin felt like she was lagging, and every step she took felt like the wrong one. it wasnât just the trainees, either, as the trainers were harsher than yoojin wouldâve thought for a company of their caliber at the time. while yoojin had heard trainee horror stories, she hadnât quite expected to live one in dimensions, they were just beginning to come up in the industry. however, yoojin felt like she was dragging behind everyone else, and struggled to maintain the standards the trainers wanted her to meet. she always felt like she was a step behind everyone else.
which was precisely why she hardly expected to be put into a debut group as soon as she did. yoojin had assumed sheâd just become another burnt-out trainee, like most of them, and cast back to changwon until she could make it out on her own. despite all the criticism she got, yoojin still ended up in 7ROPHYâs early debut group. maybe she just fell in line with everything the company said and didnât question what they asked her to do, and they liked that about her. easy to control. yoojin wasnât sure â but she was sure this was the only chance she would get. despite not feeling completely sure about it, yoojin did her best.
with her small amount of vocal skill, yoojin had half-expected to just be a sub-vocal or sub-rapper, and get a dancing position. after all, yoojin would consider herself a good dancer. however, yoojin ended up being pushed as a rapper, much to her surprise. while she was once again unsure, she did as she was told and followed through. in workshops she got the approval she wanted â maybe not completely wanted, but at least she was happier with her progress. they were glad she was being a good little girl and following the footsteps they were setting for her. that seemed to be enough to ignite something in her.
7ROPHY had been in the works for some time, and all the girls had been training together for a while before they were finally approached with a debut concept. they had all thought âpepeâ would be a strong debut, and the company had high expectations for the girls. which was why it was such a let down when their debut didnât seem to meet those expectations. theyâd all thought âpepeâ would be a strong debut, but it doesnât end up getting the traction theyâd expected. neither does âlike.â or âhigh heels.â or âeighteen.â
conversations began floating around about disbandment, a word whispered behind hands with uneasy glances being passed between the girls. yoojin began to feel the impending doom of disbandment during the âno oh ohâ era, and soon it was hard to avoid online when searching up their group name. only two years into their career and the future was looking bleak â but hobgoblin gave them some newfound hope. it seemed like the kick they needed, but âwhere are you?â didnât meet the expectations as a follow-up comeback, and the rumors resurfaced. this time, yoojin wondered if theyâd stick â if 7ROPHY couldnât show consistency, what good where they for dimensions to just keep losing money on? yoojin didnât want to give up hope, but she was still concerned and began to wonder what would happen if she had to return home.
the reaction to âblack dressâ was mixed. people were tired of the inconsistencies in concept â which yoojin got, she really did. but overall, the comeback seemed to be what they needed. although there was still the voice in the back of her head telling her otherwise, there was no more talk of disbandment. maybe 7ROPHY had another shot? later, yoojin would consider âblack dressâ their saving grace, as every comeback after it seemed to do better and better. their next comeback earned 7ROPHY their first three music show wins, of which yoojin just remembered sobbing over during the encore. it felt like, maybe, everything had been worth it.
7ROPHY is still on thin ice with fans who always expect more and more out of every comeback. they need to continue showing they have the talent they were noticed for, or everything could go under. as sheâs been allowed to help more and more with their tracks after successes of those sheâs previously worked on, yoojin puts more pressure on herself to continue delivering â even if that means burning herself out for the sake of her members and her fans.

BIOGRAPHY
triggers: eating disorder
kim eunah is born too soon, by just over a month. she spends her first six weeks in intensive care, surrounded by her family day and night. it sets the tone for the environment sheâll grow up in: eunah is the baby of the family, doted on by her parents and two older sisters alike. showered with love and affection, eunah is the definition of sheltered.
her elementary school music teacher suggests she joins their parish choir. the choir leader suggests she get some vocal coaching  -  â sheâs got real potential. â
the vocal coach her parents send her to agrees. eunah puts her all into singing, it becomes her life in the best possible way. every semester, her school puts on a musical, and every semester, eunah takes the lead female role. audrey, little shop of horrors. belle, beauty and the beast. wednesday, the addams family. cinderella, into the woods. between school and community musicals, the list went on and on and eunah collected credits to her name all the way up to her first semester of high school, when she sends an audition tape to dimensions entertainment on a dare from a friend. sheâs pulled out of rehearsals for the title role in thoroughly modern millie for an in - person audition, and is living in seoul with her maternal grandparents in seoul by the time her understudy is up on stage back home.
things are ⊠different in seoul. eunah feels alone. her korean isnât as good as she thought it was, though she catches up with the program quite quickly. her grandparents donât baby her half as much as her parents did back home, and attitudes, in general, are different, especially towards weight. other trainees whisper as she passes by: fat, piggy, chunky. her parents told her she was cute and chubby, well rounded and suited to her baby fat, but that didnât cut it in dimensions entertainment.
sizes drop, one by one. the lack of a proper support system make slipping into bad habits all too easy. by the time eunah is told sheâs going to debut in 7rophy, the whispers have stopped. theyâre replaced by constant chirpy reminders from her family back home to make sure sheâs eating.
pepe is a strong debut, eunah knows it, but itâs not enough. neither is like, neither are high heels and eighteen. for dimensions, for the public, nothing is ever enough. eunah agrees, and around no oh oh era, the articles and forum posts start popping up  -  is 7rophyâs eunah the skinniest idol right now?
then hobgoblin takes off. not as much as they want, but itâs good enough to quell the whispers of disbandment for the time being. eunah is flying high, until so - called friends from seattle, long lost contact with, start uploading videos and pictures of her from her middle school musicals. eunah, the skinny idol, becomes eunah, the ex - pig, overnight. people start updating their threads, and the vast majority of the comments are people shaming her or admiring her grit. the comments genuinely, gently questioning her weight loss methods are slim to none.
dimensions shrug their shoulders. she wants the pictures and videos taken down, eradicated from the internet. dimensions point out the comments from people praising her performance, usually sandwiched between some nasty references to her appearance. Â â maybe we can push you into musicals. â
where are you era only brings more disappointment, all momentum from hobgoblin well and truly lost. rumours of disbandment start to spread again, and eunah almost believes them, words running circles around her brain even as sheâs getting her hair dyed back to black for black dress.
as it turns out, black dress is the kick they need to get enough public interest to get their first win in october, with latata. for the first time since she checked her email in the middle of a rehearsal for thoroughly modern millie, eunah feels like maybe she could be enough.
