Hii I’m Anabeth a local nah Nana Shimura x Gran Torino Fan!!
“The Day She walked in”
The door slid open suddenly, and every student turned toward it. A young woman, perhaps in her early twenties, stood in the doorway, her jet-black hair tied up in a high bun. She exuded confidence as she strolled in, her sharp gaze surveying the room.
For a moment, silence reigned.
Then—
“Hey, new girl!” shouted one of the boys in the front row.
“Looking good, princess!” another hollered, breaking the dam of restraint.
A cascade of wolf whistles and catcalls followed. The room erupted into chaotic laughter as more students chimed in, trying to outdo one another with increasingly ridiculous remarks.
Toshinori winced. He recognized their behavior as juvenile, but he couldn’t deny the mystery woman had an aura that commanded attention. Her eyes narrowed slightly, but she maintained her poise.
Before Toshinori could say anything to quell the noise, the unmistakable thud of Gran Torino’s boots echoed from the hallway. The short but imposing man entered, a scowl already forming on his face.
“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN HERE?!” he barked, his voice cutting through the cacophony like a knife.
The class fell silent instantly, though a few students chuckled nervously under their breath. Torino’s eyes darted toward the woman standing at the front.
“Torino,” she said coolly, ignoring the snickering students. “I see your class has… energy.”
His scowl deepened as he stalked to the front of the room. “Listen up, you little punks. This isn’t some new student for you to ogle. This is Nana Shimura. She’s here to observe my teaching methods.”
The name didn’t immediately register with most of the class, but the tone in Torino’s voice made it clear she wasn’t to be messed with.
“Wow,” one boy muttered under his breath. “No way she’s older than us.”
Gran Torino whipped around, glaring daggers at the offender. “You got something to say, kid?”
The boy shrank into his seat.
Nana chuckled softly, stepping forward. “It’s fine, Torino. They’re just kids. Let them think what they want.” Her voice was light but carried a steel edge that made the room tense.
“You don’t need to defend these brats,” Torino muttered, rubbing the back of his head. Then, under his breath, he added, “And for crying out loud, why do you have to wear your hair like that? You’re causing a damn riot.”
Nana arched an eyebrow at him. “What, you think I should let it down?”
Torino’s face turned red. “Just—keep it professional, Shimura.”
Toshinori couldn’t help but smile. He’d never seen Gran Torino flustered before, and watching the two of them bicker was oddly entertaining. There was an undeniable chemistry between them, even in their playful jabs.
“Alright, alright,” Nana said, raising her hands in mock surrender. “Let’s get back to business, shall we? I’m here to observe your teaching, not to cause distractions.”
Torino grumbled something under his breath before turning back to the class. “Alright, you brats, open your books. I’ve got a lesson to teach.”
As the students complied, Nana took a seat at the side of the room, crossing her legs gracefully. Despite the tension earlier, she seemed entirely at ease.
Toshinori glanced at her again, intrigued. There was something about her—an air of strength, yet warmth—that left an impression. He didn’t know it yet, but this was the first day of many where Nana Shimura would become a central figure in his life.
And judging by the way Gran Torino kept sneaking glances at her when he thought no one was looking, Toshinori suspected his teacher wasn’t immune to her presence either.
