Happy 7th Birthday Speak Now <3

Honestly, Speak Now was such an magical era. It was an amazing album full of such true and meaningful lyrics. There isn’t a song on the album that can be disrespected. So much was put into that album and you could really tell. That album deserved a Grammy. Remember when we also got Wonderstruck perfume that era because it is literally still my favorite perfume. I feel like Speak Now was such an extravagant album that deserves nothing but respect. Every time I hear it, it takes me back to the time I first heard it, dancing around my living room after getting home from school when I was in middle school. The concert was also absolutely amazing and so well put together and so delicately beautiful. I am so thankful for Taylor and this album that she wrote and the hard times it got me through. Happy Birthday Speak Now, and congrats Taylor for writing and releasing such a masterpiece 7 years ago.

I can’t believe it’s been seven years since Speak Now was released. It’s so special to me because that’s when I really began falling in love with Taylor and her music. The start of a beautiful friendship almost. The fact that she wrote it entirely by herself is incredible, and proves her pure songwriting talent. I’m so proud of you, Taylor. Happy birthday, Speak Now. 💋

7 years ago today this album was brought into my life. I was 8 years old and I was in love with this person called Taylor Swift. I had known her since Love Story was released and from that moment, I knew that discovering her and her music was going to be the best thing to even happen to me. This album was the first I was fortunate enough to have been apart of this fandom and experience the joy of listening to it properly and also actually remember it. On the 10th of March, 2012, I went to The Speak Now World Tour in Sydney which was the first concert I had ever been to. That night was one I will never forget. The night I saw my queen forever in person for the first time. I was sitting right up the back of the arena singing and dancing along all night on the chair because I was too short to see even though I could barely see her anyway cause of how far back I was meaning I had to look at the screen. I didn’t care about this though because I was in the same room, breathing the same air as my idol! After performing the one and only Speak Now, she announced that we was going to come and spend some time with us up the back! The little stage with the tree that she sat on was so cute and I was bursting with excitement because she was only a couple of metres away from me! I know for sure that is the closest I will ever be away from her and I am so grateful for ever having the opportunity to be that close. She performed Fearless, Last Kiss, Drops Of Jupiter and You Belong With Me there and it was so incredible. I can’t even put how I was feeling into words ahhhh!!! Anddddd let’s not forget, this was the night I went home with a signed copy of the concert DVD!!! After this she went back to the actual stage and performed the rest of the songs. Finally she performed Love Story to wrap up the show and I was so excited because I was watching my idol perform the song I had discovered her through as she flew around the room. I was going crazy dancing and singing and waving and making the oh so famous heart sign with my hands at her and the moment when she flew past and waved back at me was the moment I totally lost it and died inside! I will never forget that moment. This album is such a special album for all of those reasons and I am so appreciative to have it in my life. Thank you Taylor for gifting me with this album which has helped me through so many things throughout my life. Happy 7th Birthday Speak Now!
