Second day in my new house (8.14.18)

It’s really different living here. I feel a sense of self again. It’s also nice to know the people I’m living with notice me, in the way that they can pick up on when I’m stressed, and my behaviors when stressed. I’m definitely not always ubderstood, and my needs aren’t always met and I still have to explain myself more than I should have to, but it’s a work in progress. I’m happy to feel a sense of independence, I have my own space where I can do what I need to do to function, I couldn’t eat or even look at myself in the mirror in my old house. It felt like I was a fish swimming in a tiny bowl, everything felt slow and bleak. I’m greatful to live in this town, I’m determined to make an impression and meet new people, and have new experiences. I’m determined to find out what kind of person I can be past this.

Her skin is glowing like the moon.

I want to caress it ever so gently, brushing fingers like paintbrushes from wrist too arm to chest, ‘til her breath softly shudders.

I want to kiss the softest petals that are her lips, taste the honey-sweet of her neck, of the place between her breasts.

I want to wrap my fingers through the strands of her hair & pull her  closer, closer, always closer.
