The Darkness, Again
I see the darkness that has rested upon you and I know it’s name. I know the beast that looms with his hands on your shoulders trying to steal the last of your light.
I want to tell you to hold on a little longer, that night has to end. I want to offer you some reason to live,
but I am not yours to run to anymore. I am not your sanctuary, not your love,
so I give you a couple cigarettes and hope you know what I can’t say.
