Lmao, is she really out here trying to pretend like Michael’s family is her family? I’ve always gotten the vibe that Michael isn’t even all that close to his family anyway, which would explain why they’re always so buddy-buddy with Crystal, and why they entertain all of her shenanigans. Also, the “I usually keep our family photos private…” bit is especially pathetic.

Not to bring up old drama, but this is vaguely reminiscent of how she said she never posts photos of Georgia, “because she’s a spaz who won’t sit still.” Then within weeks of Georgia’s death, she’s suddenly posting loaaads of photos and videos of Georgia. I mean, they must have just conveniently appeared out of thin air, huh? She never had that energy while that sweet baby was alive. I feel like everything out of Crystal’s mouth is complete lie, and she’ll only post something if it benefits her.

Today has been hard as hell. We had lunch out, AND we had to get dessert. Dinner was also super difficult, but the actual food shouldn’t have been; I was just overwhelmed.

Smash Ultimate Direct

I’ve never played Castlevania so this isn’t much to me, in fact I’ve never even heard of Richter, but this is still awesome.

Dark Samus and Chrom were both revealed as Echo Fighters. Awesome. Metroid fans are really getting it good between Dark Samus and Ridley being in Smash Ultimate and Prime 4 coming in the future too.

We’re getting over 100 stages and over 800 – yes, over 800 – songs in the game. Not only that, but rather than song choices being limited by stage, it’s by franchise, which is epic. Still speaking about stages, we already know every stage has a Battlefield and FD version, but it was also confirmed that you can turn off stage hazards too, so the list of viable stages will be bigger than ever which is fucking awesome.

Lots of cool gameplay features and modes and other such niceties as well, most notably of which is the option to save your rulesets as presets, so you don’t need to manually put your ruleset in again every time, which is a really neat feature. Nintendo also took a page from PSASBR and there’s now an option to gradually charge your Final Smash by doing shit and then you can unleash a slightly weaker Final Smash, which might be fun to mess around with.

We also got to see the main menu, and noticeably, with Sakurai even drawing attention to it, one very large menu selection was blurred out. Are we seeing the return of Subspace Emissary perhaps? Because I sure as hell hope so. That’d be fucking awesome.

And that was about it for the direct.

But it’s Nintendo, meaning not quite yet. It hypes up King K. Rool, King Dedede does a bait and switch, but then K. Rool pops up anyway. King K. Rool finally confirmed.

Now all I want is Shadow the Hedgehog.
