(GoodWill Find) These are the plates my Aunt that lived on Luella had. I have no idea why I think of fried chicken, peas & macaroni comes to mind or porkchops rice & corn. I was surprised to see these dishes again.
Do you think Mochizuki Jun read The Velveteen Rabbit?
Can't say for sure. There are definitely Japanese translations of the book, and PH does have a lot of thematic and symbolic similarities to it, but... It's a little bit late for Mochizuki's tastes. She primarily has interest in Gothic fiction and European mythology, and the Velveteen Rabbit is just outside of that timeframe, published in 1922. I'd say it's definitely a strong possibility, though.
Clearing out my camera roll 8419/?
not really good pics but!!! two frogs heheh
Back when I was the youngest cousin my Aunt Lane always got me these TV dinners.
95′ I had Pjs that were same colors w/ similar in pattern as this Chicago Bulls Jacket. I wasn't a sporty type kid but I loved those Pjs exp because they were shorts. My Aunt complained to my Uncle (her brother) from California for having me wear them to day camp; I knew but didn't say anything because I loved those Pjs.
I saw this Meme on FB about the AT&T guy falling asleep while working & I thought it was my Aunts “Friend” Burt lol. He was a fix it man that drove a small dark red van filled with tools & wore some kind of cologne?, He always did work on my Aunts house & would lay just like this Lmao. Burt also owned the building my Great Grandfather lived in.
