Whatever’s happening at the moment this song plays in Star Hearts for Wonderswan, I’m sure it has something to do with: caves/bats/demons/fire/dark dungeons/other “metal” stuff. But what I really like about it is that Masuko shows the same specific knowledge of evil spirits as musicians like Kinuyo Yamashita via Castlevania or Slayer in the intro to “Jesus Saves:” Satan struts. Maybe this part of the game looks more like Janet Jackson’s video for “Rhythm Nation,” people in drab military garb and full-finger black leather gloves laying total dance-floor waste to a factory that only manufactures steam.
