Does anyone else here remember this character terrorizing their childhoods?

Sorry for not posting that much art. I have a lot of coursework to do right now and I'm still really stressed about it.

Anyways, here's this character that I kind of based on myself.

They're an anthropomorphic robot with an old Windows 98 Second Edition desktop for a head with a CRT monitor face.

Back in the 1990s and very early 2000's, before LCD and LED screens were common, you had to do something called "degaussing" to the CRT monitor to your computer screen, and that would clear electromagnetic buildup from the monitor so your screen wouldn't be messed up from using the computer a lot, and that caused some really interesting-looking effects on the screen for a second or two.

I decided to use the appeparance of degaussing to show how this character "kisses".

I also showed how this character would eat (and I'd imagine that they'd drink liquids the same way) so this character could have a way of enjoying human food even though they primarily rely on plug-in recharging and technological repairs.

They also shut down and start up instead of sleeping and waking up like a human would, but it has the same effect in the end.

I also gave them the same black hoodie that I recently bought in real life from a Label Shopper in Northeast Hudson Valley, NY.

A character from a thing I made a while ago.

[note: I will not be posting anything on any of my social medias on June 18th or June 19th this year to honor Juneteenth as a white person.]

This character, Ash, is from an old concept I had called "The Laboratory Interactive Art Institution", which was an idea that I had for this place which had interactive elements within it, and the entire place and everything in it heavily borrowed from the turn-of-the-millennium Kaybug/Y2K/Cyber aesthetic, from the predominant cool blues, silvers, and periwinkles with pops of bright orange to the predominantly shiny and metallic textures that I envisioned The Lab IAI and the things within it to have to the blobjects that I imagined dominating the architecture of The Lab IAI to even the fusion between the more colorful and juvenile and the sleek, technological and unrealistic cross-millennial retro-future.
