Sometimes I miss being high. Everything was intensive. Every single touch, every kiss. It was a pure magic. 3 years full of joy until the day I thought I would die. I got the biggest panic attack ever because of some shit. Sometimes I'm afraid I will try it again. Even if I know it would make me go crazy. I just want to feel everything again.

244 days sober Why did I choose this life because it got old because I had to start facing myself? Because on that Friday night the last night I drank, when I got mugged and 3 people jumped me and stole from me and I was too intoxicated to do a thing and I saw the fear in my friend's eyes when he came to my aid, I knew that I could not keep going. I ate bad, my health was bad I was sick and was having seizures. I lost a lot of friends, but have kept the good ones and my friendships are true and growing. I still have seizures but not as many. I just realized that if my old coworker wasn’t worried about me and didn’t find me laying on the ground by my car in the middle of the night unresponsive I would be dead from a drug overdose from prescription pills and cocaine. I owe my life to her. But I am 8 months sober today.
