I wanted to share a quick little tip to help you get back on track after a binge... or even just a little overeating mistake. See, most people don't binge on broccoli. They binge on industrially engineered foods: bags, containers and boxes of things which did NOT exist o the Savannah or in the tropics millions of years ago when humans first appeared. The problem is, these bags, boxes and containers produce and artifical pleasure we are NOT evolutionary prepared to handle. They kind of short-circuit our neurology AND hijack our survival drive. So that instead of craving whole, fresh, natural foods... We THINK we literally can't survive without BIG FOOD's over-engineered food-like substances. (And of course, this is just how they like ti. Because your Inner Food Demon is their best customer!) And right after a binge, your brain is busy rewiring itself to profit those fat cat executives by craving those bags, boxes and containers even more strongly than it did before the binge. But you do NOT have to let this happen! What you CAN do immediately after a binge is feed your body something healthy. And the one thing I've found which the vast majority of diets CAN agree is healthy for us is LEAFY GREEN VEGETABLES. Resist the urge to put in any powders, potions, or supplements. Just blend up the darn thing and drink it down like medicine. You'll likely find yourself immediately more confident in your ability to get back on track! This is because our bodies evolved eating leafy greens, so by introducing them in the middle of the toxic-rewiring of your nurse ology after a binge you are PHYSIOLOGICALLY INTERRUPTING the addictive process. It's really that simple. Oh and you don't have to wait until you have a binge either.
