The Bugatti EB110 is one of the best supercars of all time. Was the first supercar with a carbon Fibre monocoque, active aerodynamics and an all-wheel-drive system. And all this was thanks to Romano Artioli, which wanted to bring Bugatti back to the glory days. In addition to the EB110, Bugatti Automobili also tried some other projects with the EB112 being the most known one. But there was also a lesser known project and this was a small sports car for Suzuki. Artioli was the official importer of Suzuki for italy and he saw intress on the newly introduced Cappuccino. But the problem was that the Cappuccino was not capable of European safety regulations. The project’s code name was Espresso and it was to be a mid-engine sports car with a t-top roof. The car was to have similar dimensions to the Cappuccino and even share its tiny 0.7-liter 3-cylinder engine. Sadly the project was cancelled due to the financial problems that Bugatti was having.
