A low hum leaves his lips, nodding along. He can understand the hassle of having to put up the lights only to take them down after about a month and a half. There were those people that are often too lazy to do it and leave them til next Christmas, but throughout the year - there enough occasions to decorate your house in some fancy holiday themed way; you wouldn’t want to mix Christmas with Easter.

“I enjoy putting them on, usually because I have a lot of people to help me with that and so it’s quite fun most of the time. Until you get tangled in them..” His sentence trails off, sighing at a memory of him tangled with Haechan in the Christmas lights for about an hour, because everyone were too busy laughing and taking pictures of them. “They do look awfully pretty at night, though. It gives off a very.. cozy, in a way, vibe.”

It is not often that she gets to drive around the city since her manager is usually the one doing the driving but on the rare occasions she has a night free and the urge to feel the night air, she gets herself into her car and drives off to any destination she felt like going that night. She finds herself doing that more during Christmas time because of all the lights and the decorations put up throughout the city to celebrate the occasion, making her feel warm and wondering what her family would be doing this Christmas. For her, she knows it will be spent filming her new drama. Nothing festive about that but considering how everyone will be going to a dinner party afterward, that certainly makes up for the lack of Christmas spirit.  

“You sound like you speak from experience.” While she has not found herself tangled in the Christmas lights, she has tripped over Christmas lights a number of times before back when she was younger, helping her parents sets up the Christmas tree being one of the things she looked forward to as a kid when Christmas was coming because that meant Santa and presents. Now as an adult, she does not set up her own Christmas tree in her home but she does enjoy watching and helping others with theirs. “How will you be celebrating Christmas?”

* —  ( 태 ) ”       a pair of small hands moved at a steady pace on the iphone’s screen, a frown plastered on the owner’s features in pure concentration. it was a fact that taeyeon really enjoyed mobile games, especially if they required a lot of concentration, and logic even. however, she’s been really addicted to this one specific game all week, if it wasn’t because she had to get out the dorm to go to her schedules, she’d stay in, playing said game all day without even getting some rest, unless she’s forced to. it wasn’t even her fault that her eyes, hands and attention were glued to the phone’s screen for at least the past half an hour, anyway. the woman and her junior, jaehyun, had planned on hanging out, especially because they haven’t seen each other for long. both, taeyeon and him (and the rest of nct, actually) have been pretty busy lately, their jobs didn’t even give them enough time to even have a proper conversation even through text and the eldest of the pair wanted to make up for it. as she finally felt the presence of her junior, she paused the game, practically shoving her phone onto the table with a loud huff, her eyes locking with his as she tried her best to sound annoyed. “yah, i’ve been waiting for you for almost an hour. how could you leave your favorite noona hanging, huh?”

Life isn’t easy and she knows that firsthand, having been through a slew of dreadful things herself. The only reason she was able to speak those words so unequivocally is because she had hit bottom before, a couple of times, but was always able to pick herself back up. “I have taken that first step,” she said sternly. “It ain’t easy, but pessimism isn’t gonna get you anywhere.” She raked her hair behind her ear before continuing. “You can take that first step; encounter some bumps and roadblocks here and there, or you can stay where you’re at, not growing or progressing.” Taking a deep breath, she ended her point with, “So to answer your question, yes, we do have the world at our feet, you just gotta put in some work.”

Her eyes glisten at the masterpiece in front of her, jaw dropping from the look. She’s always enjoyed eating her food and once she sits herself down, the dish had all her attention. The agency has been encouraging her to get used to eating healthy and it was something she needed to follow through with. An internal struggle formed, causing her to sigh. “ I’m not sure if I should dig in... it looks great...”

Visiting her friend at SM’s practice room. She saw how he was working on his vocals first.❛ I made some food. I was cooking for my members, but also decided to save & bring you some as well! I know you’re working hard & I see how tired & sleepy you are. ❜ Rosé placed the two bowls of food into his hands while sending a friendly smile his way. Maybe it would wake him up some more & give him energy.

❛ I made sure to keep it warm for you. It’s kimchi stew & ramen. I hope you like it! ❜ Making her way back over to her bag as she sat down by it, stretching out her arms with a yawn. Rosé was a little tired herself from cooking & cleaning back at dorms. Even so — she still found time for her friend who called for her to come over.❛ Do you plan on still practicing? I think you need some rest now, but I’ll stay with you if needed! ❜
