a/n: is it too late to submit a piece for the #9DaysofSolomon event run by @impish-ivy? hope not! i was inspired to write something for prompt 1: stars to celebrate the end of the event. enjoy!
the devildom is a place of brilliance.
you've been here long enough to love its usual sights. city lights spotted from a bridge on the outskirts of town, detailed architecture from eras past lining your work to RAD every day-- it's a sort of beauty you get used to, breathtaking as it is. but there's always something new to surprise you when you least expect it.
tonight, the stars are shining bright in the darkened skies, opalescent and twinkling overhead. you watch from the safety of a blanket on the ground, but even from there, it feels like the stars are almost on top of you, reaching out with cosmic fingers of stardust and twilight. they're innumerable. truly, the sky is overtaken with light.
"beautiful, isn't it?"
solomon's voice rings clear behind you. you crane your neck to look back towards the sound of his footsteps. his snowy locks and the golden adornments on his cloak keep him from fading entirely into the night. a moment passes before he settles in next to you on the blanket.
"i've never seen anything like it," you murmur, breathless and awestruck.
"i've been alive for a long time, and even now... the sight still takes me by surprise. you can't see this sort of thing in any other realm."
the enormity of it all makes you feel like a little kid again. you're just a human on a cliffside, a tiny piece in the large scheme of time and space, utterly insignificant and gone within an instant. these stars in your eyes are ancient. you heard the brothers discuss their last sighting millennia ago-- yet here you are, somehow alive to see them yourself. your head spins at the thought. what are you doing here? who even are you, anyways?
"is everything alright?" his voice breaks through your racing thoughts.
you feel the warmth of solomon beside you, and everything feels okay.
"sometimes... i get overwhelmed by it all. the devildom, being human... do you ever feel that way?"
he chuckles softly. "i used to. it's been awhile. is that how you're feeling right now?"
"a little."
solomon takes your hand softly, carefully. you peek over at his face-- he's watching you with a gentle expression, steely eyes drinking in your features like you'll slip away any second. he often looks at you with reverence, but this feels... different. more intimate, somehow.
"i'm right here," he murmurs. "and i'm not going anywhere. we can go back if you're too overwhelmed, or we can talk about it all if you'd like. whatever you need, i'm here for you."
you don't doubt his intentions, nor his devotion. solomon intends to stay by your side no matter what you decide-- and throughout it all, he'll look at you like you put those very stars in the sky tonight.
I wrote the beginning of this a long time ago and then got distracted. I kept meaning to go back to it and this prompt gave me the perfect reason to. I am obsessed with this man's pact marks and that's really all you need to know lol.
Solomon x GN!MC (this is an established relationship scenario)
NSFW MDNI
Warnings: Solomon's wrists are restrained, oral (Solomon receiving), lil bit of biting, I think that's it I dunno you could say he's a bit subby here too I think lol
You had just come home from the House of Lamentation, ready to finally relax for a bit. You looked around for Solomon, but didn't see him right away. You went to his room and found the door was slightly open. You peeked your head in, but still saw no sign of him. You opened the door wider and went inside.
And that was when Solomon came out of the bathroom, wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist.
You gasped. You didn't mean to and your hands flew to cover your mouth immediately, but it was too late.
Solomon turned to you and all you could look at were the pact marks that covered his bare chest and arms.
You had seen them before, of course. But you didn't often see them so clearly. Solomon always wore clothes that covered almost every inch of his skin. And when you had been in moments of passion that required clothing removal, you hadn't really been paying too close attention, too busy fumbling in the dark.
Solomon watched you carefully. "Hey, MC. I didn't know you were home already."
You forced your eyes up to his face. "I… just got back," you said awkwardly.
Solomon ran a hand through his still damp hair. "If you give me a minute to get dressed, I'll make us dinner."
Several emotions ran through you at this statement, but the main sentiment was don't you dare. You didn't want him in the kitchen or making dinner, but you also didn't want him to get dressed.
At that moment, the light of his room was bright, illuminating the contrast between his black pact marks and pale skin. The way they covered him so thoroughly was something you hadn't quite realized before now. The last thing you wanted was for him to cover them up again.
"Absolutely not," you said.
Solomon looked surprised. "Oh?"
You took several steps toward him and rested your fingertips on one of the pact marks on his chest, leaning in close. "You don't even realize, do you?"
Solomon shivered beneath your touch. "MC…"
You noted the blush that had crossed his cheeks and the tips of his ears. You put your other hand on one of the marks on his arm. "You're stunning."
Solomon laughed. "Me?" He sounded incredulous.
You pressed your lips to one of the marks on his chest. You heard him suck in a breath. You pushed on him gently until he was pressed up against the wall as your lips and tongue moved to another pact mark. You nipped at this one and received another gasp from him in response.
"M-MC…" his voice was already almost a whimper.
As you kept your lips on the pact mark, you let your fingers slide down and run just beneath the edge of the towel that was still tucked around his waist.
To your annoyance, he caught the wrist of your wandering hand. "Ah, now that's not fair, is it?"
You leaned back a little to smirk at him. "Don't make me tie you up," you said jokingly.
Solomon's eyes widened and his face flushed, the heat clearly creeping down his neck. He frowned a little at his own reaction.
You laughed. "I see how it is."
You didn't give him a chance to protest, instead reciting the words to a spell you happened to have learned recently.
Solomon let go of you as his own wrists were pulled together, bound by a thread of magic. His flush deepened. "Did Asmodeus teach you this?"
Your fingers went back to the towel. A glance downward revealed how hard his cock was already. You pulled on the fabric, letting it fall to his feet.
Your fingers brushed against him, trailing along his erection, across his hips, over the pact marks there.
"I think I'd like to explore every single one of these," you said, your hand splayed across a pact mark on his stomach, just behind where his bound wrists rested.
For once, Solomon didn't protest or make any kind of sound at all. Instead he simply watched you, his eyes hooded, as though he was no longer thinking clearly. As though he was dizzy from wanting you so badly.
You pulled him over to the bed and made him kneel on it. He did as you asked obediently and you noted how he was like putty in your hands.
Slowly and carefully, you set about putting your lips (and tongue and teeth) on all seventy-two of Solomon's pact marks.
You couldn't help but chuckle when you got to Asmo's. "You were right. He did teach me that wrist binding spell," you said just before sucking on the center of it, leaving a dark red mark there.
Solomon sighed and managed to actually look concerned, even with the heat all over his face and his cock still straining. "I'll have to talk to him about teaching questionable spells to my adorable apprentice."
You moved on to the next mark, nipping at it momentarily before saying, "Talk to him about how grateful you are, right?"
You deliberately stroked his cock with your hand, making his whole body twitch.
"Ah, MC!" Solomon bit his lip.
You shook your head, but just moved on again to the next mark.
By the time you were finished, you had an overwhelmed sorcerer begging you for release.
You cupped his cheek, which was hot and slick with sweat, pressing your lips to his. "You've been so good for me."
Solomon moaned against you, squirming just a little. You kissed down his throat, his chest, his stomach, lingering on the marks as you went, maneuvering around his still bound wrists.
When you finally took his cock in your mouth, Solomon moaned out your name. You began soft and gentle, teasing the tip with your tongue. The needy sounds Solomon made were so desperate, you decided to have mercy on him. He had waited long enough. You sucked and it wasn't long until his cum was sliding down your throat.
As Solomon gasped in air from the long awaited orgasm, you stood up, wiping your mouth a little, and snapping your fingers to remove the magical thread around his wrists.
You started to move away, but as soon as his hands were free, Solomon was pulling you toward where he still knelt on the bed.
"Oh no," he said, already tugging off your shirt. "It's your turn, MC."
"What?" you demanded.
"You have pact marks, too," he said.
"Only seven!" you protested.
Solomon's arms were around you, keeping you against the bed. He rested his chin on your now bare stomach and looked up into your eyes. "Then I'll just have to add the other sixty-five marks myself, won't I?"
You were amazed at how quickly the tables had turned. Now you were the one blushing deeply. You could tell it was going to be a long night and yet you found you didn't mind at all.
day 1: stars | day 2: nostalgia | day 3: knife | day 4: ocean | day 6: snow | day 7: familiar | day 8: Barbatos | day 9: humanity
Solomon definitely create a whole planetarium in his room as he just think this little magic thingy is fun
But when someone interrupted him everything is gone, back to the paper.
From others perspective, they can't understand why the prince always keep old papers and weird book-no one knows where they came from- in his room until they found out he can use magic
I just found this project today and speedrun this cuz I want to and this sorcerer is fun to draw!
And another version with hc that he actually has brown hair when is a kid!
I saw the post on the 9 Days of Solomon from @impish-ivy a while back and I’ve always wanted to participate in obey me related fan events but I end up not doing it or chickening out. But hopefully Ill be able to full participate in the entire event from start to finish! ☺️
Im still an amateur with rending so I’m try my best for the next few art works ;P
Below are my thoughts in the process and progress on this art piece so if you aren’t interested then you can keep scrolling but thank you for looking! ^^
For tomorrows “Prompt Day 2: Nostalgia” for the “9 Days of Solomon” won’t be released until on his birthday, I had to push it back, but “Prompt Day 3: Knife” will be released on it’s appropriate date (Dec.3)
Edit: If the image is blurry please click on image. 😘
Day 1: Prompt: Stars! For some odd reason I was having a hard time coming up with an idea since there is already a lot and I mean a LOT of Solomon fanart with stars (basically his signature staple ;P) and I didn’t want to do a rinse and repeat what other people were going to do cause that would be boring, so I threw a lot of different ideas that ended be discarded for example:
-Solomon siting on the cocytus hall roof top observing the night starry sky
-a visual depiction of Solomon siting up on the roof top of the train (from his actual “Solomon going on the train” card”) and having his eyes and the background show the night sky
- his classic cape showing stars
(Feel free to use any ideas if they appeal to you I don’t mind you using it ;P)
All the ideas just didn’t talk to me what so ever so I discard them, after scrolling through Pinterest for any spark of idea, then after combining different ideas I came up with a Kid! Solomon, first experiencing his first Magic book. I’m not quite sure why I decide I was going to draw Kid! Solomon instead of his adult form, I guess it felt like it would work better this way. Besides I was going to draw lots of Adult! Solomon anyway ;P
Summary: You and Solomon make cookies when the first snowfall hits.
AN: Ironically, it's been cold and snowing on and off all day today. So, pretty fitting if you ask me! :)
Warnings: None
It was a cold night in the Devildom, too cold to go out and do anything, so you and Solomon settled on making some cookies to keep yourselves busy. The kitchen was warm from the preheating oven, while the rest of Cocytus Hall held fires within some of its hearths to battle the cold from creeping in.
“Are you sure you don’t need any help?” Solomon starts again as you hear him tossing another handful of chocolate chips into his open mouth. “Because from over here, it looks like you’re struggling.”
You’re not. You are not struggling at all, actually. He knew you weren’t struggling either, but it seemed he was determined to get you to let him help you in some manner.
Taking a glance over your shoulder, you note Solomon behind you, still leaning against the counters that line the wall right where you had directed him to stand until told otherwise. He seems to be behaving himself, minus getting into the chip bag prematurely, but you figured it’s a small price to pay as long as he doesn’t assist with the actual making of the dough.
You chuckle while shaking your head, returning your attention back to the bowl. “I don’t need any help, thank you.” You crack an egg against the island top and plop the yolk into the dry ingredients. “Though you are doing a solid job at eating our chocolate chips. Our only bag, mind you.”
The sorcerer chuckles with you. “It’s better than just standing here, isn’t it?” You can tell by how his last few words sound that he’d put another handful into his mouth.
“Solomon, no more. You’re going to eat them all at this rate.”
A little sigh comes from behind you, and the bag rattles slightly as he sets it down on the counter.
“You’re no fun.”
A grin lifts the corners of your lips as you roll your eyes. A second egg is cracked and dropped into the bowl, along with a splash of vanilla extract. Your eyes peer down into the bowl, seeing all the ingredients but the chocolate chips present. With careful hands, you grab the bowl and a wooden spoon, and turn around to Solomon.
“If you want to do something so badly, you can stir. But DON’T do anything else. Okay?” You offer him a sweet smile as you hand him the bowl and spoon, which he happily takes.
“Of course. You don’t need to worry about me.” He gives you a little wink in return as he sets on stirring the mixture together. Nothing should happen… as long as you keep your eyes on him.
He’s a bit sloppy with the stirring – his dominant hand seemingly uncoordinated with the spoon as he holds the bowl awkwardly in the crook of his arm. You cringe a little at the sight of the flour being kicked up to the edge of the bowl while small hints float to the ground next to his feet, adorned in the fuzzy socks you picked out for him. But he’s trying.
Your eyes slowly trail up his form from the flour on the floor, admiring how cute he looks in his socks and pajamas. You were dressed similarly, the two of you opting to match in warm pjs to fight the cold and to look “stylish as you baked.” …His words.
Solomon flicks his concentrated eyes up to you, feeling your gaze lingering on him. “You’re staring.”
“Like you weren’t doing the same as I put the ingredients together?” You chuckle softly with a shrug. “You just look cute like this.”
Solomon’s cheeks light up in a soft pink and he makes sure to keep his eyes locked on the bowl he’s stirring in, not wanting to meet yours while he’s blushing. “Oh… well, thank you. I think you look cute all the time.”
You give a soft chuckle, feeling your own blush creep on your cheeks. It’s quiet for a few moments as Solomon’s stirring slows once the batter begins to thicken. This is mostly why you gave him this job. Thickened dough is like stirring cement and puts a beating on the arm. Plus, it made him feel like he was contributing, so win-win.
The sound of the wind catches your attention, and you feel glad to be inside where it’s warm and cozy. You glance to the window in the kitchen, seeing flurries of something flying by. Your eyes widen as you realize what it is.
You gasp softly, “Solomon, it’s snowing!”
“Hm?” Solomon looks away from his work and towards the window you’re staring at. “Oh, look at that. The first snow of the year- Hey! Wait!”
You’re already rushing out of the kitchen, wanting a personal view of the first snowfall. Your quickened steps are silent from the fuzzy socks that hold your feet snuggly as you run to the front door. The sound of Solomon hurrying to set the bowl down is heard, his own muffled feet racing to catch up to you as he calls out your name. With a yank, the door swings open allowing you to hurry under the little awning over the entrance.
Instantly, you’re met with a biting cold that invades the warmth of your pajamas and sends a shiver down your spine and goosebumps to rise. You should go inside, but the vision of white flecks pouring from the sky is too pretty to take your eyes off of, especially in the natural darkness of the Devildom. Something about it is magical. Perhaps it’s the light from the large moon glistening along the skiff that lays on the ground or the deafening silence that engulfs the scene and challenges the mind into wondering if it is truly snowing.
The door creaks further behind you, the soft pad of footsteps can hardly be heard shuffling closer to you until you feel something touch your shoulders. You tear your eyes away from the falling snow to the black fabric that hangs from your body. It’s Solomon’s coat, running its black to blue gradient towards your legs like it does when he wears it. You can even smell his familiar cologne enveloping your nostrils.
“What were you thinking? It’s too cold to go out like this.” Solomon gently scolds, reminding you slightly of a concerned mother.
“I’m sorry. I wanted to see the snow for myself.”
You smile sheepishly as he comes to stand beside you under the awning, his gaze moving from you to the snow that appears to be falling harder by the minute. It seems that he, too, is entranced by the beauty of this moment. The both of you stand silently together, enjoying the tranquility of the night.
“It is a beautiful sight. And I’m glad it’s one I can share with you.” A warm hand brushes against your cold one, and he takes it, interlocking his fingers with yours. At the feel of your frigid skin, Solomon pulls you closer to him, grabbing your other hand as he eyes you with worry. “Your hands are cold.”
He lifts your hands up to his mouth, his own cradling yours to blow warm air on them. He does this another time before placing a soft kiss on your knuckles. “Let’s go inside. We can finish making our cookies and we can eat them as we watch the snow fall safely from the window.” A small grin plays on his lips. “What do you think?”
You nod. “Sounds good. As long as I can spend time with you.”
Leaning forward, you place a soft kiss on his lips before pulling away after a few moments. Both of you have goofy smiles and reddened cheeks, from both the cold and the kiss, as Solomon guides you back inside to finish your evening with warmth and love.
