New MV from  9m88

We posted * the audio clip earlier in the summer . It's a very chill R&B track, and Baba's vocal is perfectly laid-back, a natural delivery that doesn't oversell the sexiness. NICE! =D

Relaxing R&B/pop tune from the combination of 宋楚琳 Erin Song & 馬念先 Mars Ma (fr. 糯米糰 Sticky Rice)  Music: Mars, Lyrics: Mars & Erin.  =D

The MV is directed by 邱柏昶 Birdy Nio and stars the dancers (and couple) Alisa Tsitseronova and Joseph Tsosh. Erin and Mars each make a cameo appearance. (Erin is the waitress)  Full a/v credits at YT and on screen.

Back in March, we posted the MV for 你朝我的方向走來 Walking Towards Me by 馬念先 Mars Ma & 9m88.  As far as I know, both songs are just one-off singles, not part of an album.  (Please correct me if I’m wrong!)  

Let’s hear another single from Erin Song, this is some sweet, reggae-tinged pop:

The MV (Directed & Written by 陳則安 Teom Chen) is like a parody of those old ‘chop-socky’ movies we used to see on late night tv in the USA.  I dunno how any of them kept a straight face while playing their parts, they must have had so much fun doing this!

I can't believe I missed this when it came out in June, but anyway, this is 9m88's newest single, produced by Mitsu the beats. =D

Turn on the CC button for English captions. The chorus is in English. I'd love to see Baba release a full English version and get some USA airplay.

9m88 ft. Leo王 at Legacy Taichung on August 28th. =D

Fun mini-set of 3 songs: 拖油瓶 (Leo solo song from 2018) + 最高品質靜悄悄 (Song featuring Leo from Baba’s 2019 debut album) + 陪你過假日 (This was a 2016 Leo single that featured 9m88)

The 9m88 album release shows all featured guest appearances. I think Leo participated in all 4 shows. Crowd Lu 盧廣仲 sang at the 2nd Taipei show, 馬念先 Mars Ma (from 糯米糰 Sticky Rice) was at Taichung, and there were other guests in Kaohsiung and Taipei.  You can see photo sets from all 4 gigs at 9m88′s fb.

CF Yang YT channel has 2 more clips from the Taichung concert.  I’ll keep an eye out for more.
