Photos taken on John’s 31st birthday, on 9th October 1971. John and Yoko were in Syracuse, New York for Yoko's art exhibition This Is Not Here opening to at the Everson Museum. Later that day a birthday party was held for John in his suite at Hotel Syracuse with Ringo, (and possibly Maureen?) Mal Evans, Allen Ginsberg, Eric Clapton, Phil Spector, Klaus Voorman, Neil Aspinal and Jim Keltner attending. An impromptu jam took place (and was recorded).
