Getting Back to Our Spiritual Roots: 9H Remediation 🦋✨🏠💛
This is the work of TarotLadyTalks LLC. Please do not steal my work or repost without credit. Thank you. I am not a professional astrologer, this is my opinion.
-Recently I made a post about how whenever we are feeling spiritually disconnected, we can look back to our 9H and 9H ruler to see how to get spiritually regrounded. I wanted to expand more on this theory because I think it will really help in times where the matrix seems to be overwhelming us and we feel as if we are losing touch. So let's dive into it!
-As we may already be aware, the 9H in tropical, Western astrology talks about our spirituality, how we practice our faith, and our religious practices. It talks about what lens we use to hold onto our faith, how we process our spiritual practice, and the result of being spiritually intuned. While it can be hard as humans to 100% put our faith and trust into something we can't quantify, it hasn't stopped thousands of years of the opposite.
-With the 9th house, I think this house may be the house we should look to in my opinion in order to reconnect with our spiritual roots. Now, while the mystic houses (4H, 8H, 12H) talks about the spiritual realm, I do think these houses talk about the spiritual realm from a more psychological perspective and how it affects us in our deep, subconscious psyche rather than just plain faith. Now, it is true that we do still incorporate the themes of the the mystic houses in our spiritual practices, esp as the 12H has a theme of spirituality. Yet, I want to stick to how we reconnect to our spirituality in terms of finding divinity in plain sight, which I think the 9th house does well. While a "tower moment" can initiate us to coming back to our spirituality (which I think the mystic houses are better at doing), does it always have to be that way?
-That where we look to the 9th house. It is evident that the 9th house does represent the aforementioned themes: spirituality, religion, divination, higher knowledge. So, why not look to the sign that rules over the 9th house and also look at the 9H ruler to see how we can spiritually reconnect with ourselves? Also, denote any close or exact aspects (within an orb of 0-3) to any personal planets that the 9H ruler is making. Also denote any 9H transits happening in your progressed 9H in your progressed chart, as that will also have significance.
I want to solidify my theory with some examples:
-Below is the chart of my younger sister. My sister practices Christianity and is a big part of her spirituality. And she grows and refines her spiritual health in doing so, and that is how she stays connected to her spiritual roots.
-Anyhow, we can her 9th house cusp begins with the sign of Taurus. Since she doesn't have any planets occupying her 9H, I looked at her 9H ruler, Venus. I noticed her Venus is in Virgo in her 12H. Which confirms two things already: my sister is not very vocal about her religion/spiritual life (like me, who makes content with based on my spirituality), yet she does like to incorporate it into her daily life (Virgo-Mercury: daily life), esp in her music choices (Venus). There is also an applying trine to her Saturn rx in the 8H (that is border the cusp of her 9H mind you), and my sister studies and reads her bible routinely. She also hardly ever misses church events as well if she can help it. I asked her does doing that keep her grounded spiritually, and she simply answered yes. I've also observed she reads her bible when no one is around to disturb her, and usually puts it up if there is too much noise around. It's not uncommon to not want to be disturbed when studying, but it also speaks to her 9H ruler in the 12H that she can not study unless it's absolutely dead silent. And the 12th house (based on timing in horary astrology) is usually, you guessed it, during the dead of the night. I was astounded to note that in her chart!
Another example would be me, lol. Since I am considered the "opposite" of my sister since I do not practice a religion, I also surprised how mine accurately aligned.
-As some you all may have already seen, I do have my 9H starting in the sign of Leo. I also don't have any 9H planets, so I looked to my Sun in Pisces in the 4H. Given the dispositor of the Sun is Jupiter/Neptune(both planets talk about spirituality), I wasn't surprised that it was hard for me to ever feel spiritually disconnected.
-What did surprise me was the fact that how I always felt spiritually connected. no matter what. I will admit lately I have been feeling disconnected due to the nonstop obligations of life, yet during the full moon in Aries, I decided to go to the park and visit family I haven't for a long time. I felt so refreshed & lighthearted after so long, and this prompt me to look deeper into this theory. After the full moon I felt connected again.
-My Sun lies in my 4H. Meaning coming back to my spiritual roots amongst my own family, especially talking to my elders. I realized over the course of my life, alot of spiritual influence on me came from the elders and their practices. The way I saw my home and the people of my hometown impacted how I wanted to grow spiritually as a person, and also why I am quite cognizant of how my spirituality also impacts others around me, as my elders always told me that there is no point in being a servant of God (they are/were Christians) if you aren't aware of how God's work makes a good difference on the world. Reflecting back on that really makes this post full circle for me. I also realized when I would travel and feel out of place, I would go back home or at least call my relatives.
-I also realized that with my Sun in close sextile to my Neptune in Aquarius in my 2H, my spirituality is a strong value of mine. Not only is being spiritual a value for me, but using it as a way to protect myself from things that would spiritually disturb me. I also want to make sure as a spiritual individual, as my family taught me, that my spirituality is not only beneficial to me, but to my community as a whole (Aquarius). So in summary , what did I do to spiritually reconnect? I think studying my family history is helpful. Doing activities such as cooking, cleaning, and housekeeping would be beneficial, & making my home a safe, spiritual space. This means also keeping altars in the home, with pictures on the walls and on altars. Cook something my family would. Help people who may not have families and give them deep love and support. Being philanthropic (Aquarius) with my money (2H). Understanding that I should spread love the way my family either did or wanted me to.
Feel free to comment your thoughts as well about this theory, but that's my take on the 9th house and getting spiritually realigned. See you all later.
