fish out of water || jiyong + bom
At times, Jiyong wandered aimlessly through the course of his life, as if he were reenacting the process with each sunrise that drenched his world in another, lonesome, ordinary day. More often than not, he would awaken whilst immersed in an aura of bleak trepidation, without heightened anticipation for what the future might hold. For he didn’t expect much of it, never anymore.
The world had run away with his heart and soul, his hopes and dreams, so all that remained was a worthless shell and a functioning brain to operate it. Mostly, Jiyong lived apart from the outside world, since he had strayed from the path. He wasn’t interested in its promises, its routine, its fast-paced nature. Whenever he ventured that place, he rediscovered its occult truths, all of which he would have rather buried away.
In the city, he felt out of place; among the crowds of businessmen and housewives and frivolous-minded teenagers and other more respectable folk. Here, the air was cool and clean, and the night illuminated with street brights and store lights, and idle chatter serving as the only audible source of rhythm. It wasn’t until Jiyong settled into the bar at Avalon did he loosen up, toss his windbreaker on a hook, crumble into a tall stool; all wiry-limbed and jagged angles, neon raver bracelets strung in numbers upon his pale wrists. Squinting to discern the lettering on the menu overhead, he sighed inwardly. Perhaps he should have been far away, celebrating the fact that he was off the job. Yet something had drawn him back to this cursed place, despite that he hated it so intently. Though he hurriedly looked around the area to discern some familiar faces, he saw none and gave up hope immediately. Tonight, he assumed, would simply be another uneventful night spent alone.
Accidental Meetings | Jessica & Bom
Jessica let out a groan as the sun shone light into her room, disturbing her sleep. Turning around to look at her clock, she sighed at the time that had already accumulated. She couldn't remember anything that had happened the night before except the loud bass of music and excessive drinking. Twelve thirty, it was that time she saw as soon as she pried her eyes open. Letting out another pained groan, she pulled off whatever she had wore the night before. Without much care, she immediately trudged her way over to her bathroom, taking a hot shower to open up her senses a bit.
After finishing her shower, she dried herself a good amount before picking out a casual outfit that consisted of pencil skirt with a white vneck tucked underneath. Pulling on a pair of stilletos, the female put on the last of her makeup before letting out a huff. If anything, what she needed right now was coffee to get rid of her nasty hangover. Trudging back to her dresser, she took out a pair of raybans then put it on before locking her room shut. The seductress couldn't help but have a thought when she had left her door unlocked once by accident. Of course, whomever it had been having broke one of her favorite perfumes and smearing a bit of lipstick in the room. Perhaps it was an animal instead of a being.
Rolling her eyes at her own thoughts, it seemed time had gone pretty quickly; seeing how she had already gotten to the cafe without noticing the outsides. Biting her lip, she walked into the cafe she ordered a caramel coffee along with a bagel on the side. As soon as she had paid for her sundries, she turned her head. The girl raised an eyebrow, bumping into whomever had been behind her in the line.
" Who just... ... Bom?"
{ Another Trip to the Infirmary }
The agents from YG returned to their headquarters as fast as they could to be able to help Youngbae with his wounds. Throughout their trip back, Minji had disregarded her own as she kept a constant watch on her old friend. It was nice to know that he was able to show them that he was still alive, but there was still a chance that he could slip from their hands and that unnerved the young woman. Although she had been initially frightened at the sight of his disheveled body, she held onto him firmly. She tried to speak to him, to encourage him to keep on living, but she constantly had to remind herself that her voice had been stolen.
When they arrived at the infirmary at the Seoul Inc. building, the medic had reported that her larynx had been damaged badly and she would be without voice for a moment's time. She stood outside of Youngbae's room, where he rested after being brought in after treatment and looked in somberly.
