You Control Your Own Destiny .

So “they “ say this saying please help me finish the phrase “ When you’re at your wit’s end and feel like you can’t take it anymore , you have had trial after trial and hardships have been thrown at you without warning, when everything is just going plain wrong …. is when ________________. ( please answer this question to yourself)

Now depending on how you answered and there isnt a right or wrong answer necessarily . But I want you to be mindful how you answered this. Was it a positive answer or a negative ? Did you say something along the lines of , “You get right back up after being knocked down and keep moving forward.” Or was your answer closer to ,” I fall into a depression “.

Well my friends , this is how I answer this question .

When everything is going absolutely wrong , I take a moral inventory and make sure Im being the best person I can be, and If I have been dotting my I and minding my Ps and Qs . Then I know that something miraculous is about to happen . That this is a test for me to see how well I react and if Im worthy of whats next on the horizon .

I ask you these questions , and bring this topic up because numerous times I have had friends ask me, readers of the blog , and random people I tell my story to in a random dive bar, all ask me this one similar question. “How do you do it?” How do you keep getting up everyday , even after all those horrible god awful things happened to you? Yet you keep on traveling after becoming homeless, you keep on writing , keep waking up and putting a smile on that face and get your butt to work for very little compensation, no matter what?

Well besides that fact that I have very important goals that helps with my determination , I also refuse to allow occurrences and trials have so much power over me that I am debilitated , and found boohoo crying in the corner , not accomplishing anything , ignoring all the beauty of the world around you , and the opportunities that the universe sends your way . And thats just not acceptable to me , NO ONE , and I repeat NO ONE thats of mind, energy or spirit has that much control over me .

I am my own entity , I create my own destiny , in an essence I am my own god. He is within us correct ? We are made in his image right? Well if god is within us all I would think that he would want us to take control of our lives , stop blaming others for your misfortunes. Stop harboring those negative memories and energy it’s not helping its only hindering . And just Let it go .

Grab hold of your destiny.

Open your eyes

Realize how powerful you truly are

And live your life

Eyes ( all three of them) Wide Open
