This will sound very silly.. But her changing colors but keeping the hair style reminded me of the old blind-bag MLP figures. They had to recolor SO MANY figures to make them look like different characters. So many Rarity and Pinkie variants out there! XD

Now that is a creature I cannot recall being mentioned before.. What is a "moon flat"?

I cut the portion where the Moon Flat was described because it didn't actually do anything for the story.

An adult moon flat is roughly oval shaped. They are about 270 feet by 200. They are mostly heavily armored on the dorsal surface, with a tough leathery underside. At its thickest it is about 12 to 15 feet.

They swim with a flat horizontal undulation that is enormously powerful. The huge crescent shaped driving fin structure along its rear side is a light, nearly white color and gives the creature its name.

Its jaws contain large flattish grinding plates rather than teeth. It is mostly a bottom feeder but does come to the surface sometimes.

As I read these tales I keep picking up on little things that I am curious about. What is this snowstar sauce? Most curious.

Also, what I wouldn't give to live in a reality where the government would punish insurance companies for screwing over their customers, rather than HELPING them cover it up or excusing it.

To tackle your question, snow star is another name for eidlweiss. It is an early blooming flower in alpine regions, especially in Europe.

Just as I have clover steaks, I came up with a sauce made of the snow star flowers to top them.

About the corrupt being promptly quashed by an honest government, Celestia and Luna are both honest and incorruptable. That's not always the case with the nobility who are tasked with the details of government. However, when the Twins do find out, they are indeed swift to end the problem and repair such harm as they can.

The Twins are Equestria's regulators.

Because of his help and friendship formed when she was just starting out, he would still be a fast friend of Caramel Treat.

It's likely that he would have become a reasonably well paid professional psychologist working in advertising or a similar field. He would, due to prejudice, not be in the public view.

Both goats and donkeys are much sought for in psychology work because they tend to see pony motives more clearly than most ponies do. As a result, their ads and advice are particularly effective.

True. He is not all that easy to write because he is absolutely firm in his goodness while understanding and having sympathy for beings who are not. He even has a demon of Tartaros named Claficus come to his Assembly sometimes.
