Im,,,, im british and,,, does buiscits and gravy mean the same thing?? Buiscits like cookies and shortbread,,, and gravy as in the stuff you put on potatoes. Are they the same???? Are they?????
Ohhhhh, sorry, I forgot that biscuits could mean other things depending on where you live. No, it's not like what Americans call cookies or you would call biscuits. The closest thing I can describe it like is a scone, but scones are still pretty different than american biscuits. Our biscuits are fluffy and buttery rolls essentially that we usually eat for breakfast, most of the time with jelly or gravy.
