A Boost

Finally, they were going back.  Eclipse was going back to work in returning to their "Night" side, the harder rock sound that Haseul loved (not that she didn't also love their "day" side) since it was closer to the type of music she would listen to on her own.  The new song was called Good Night and from what she had heard of it so far, Haseul knew she was going to like it a lot.  The dance was going to be fast, but for the first time in her entire time in KT, Haseul actually felt like she was going to be able to handle the choreography, not because it was easy, because she didn't think it was, but because she had finally begun to realize the strides she had made in her abilities.  She could still remember how awful she had been when she first began in KT and looking at her now, she still wasn't the best, but she was good.

And that was something in her book.  To gain that little boost of confidence when she finally allowed herself to do so, it was something she wouldn't let herself accept in the past.  Looking back on it, she hadn't really been scolded too much by her coaches lately for her lack of skill, in fact, she couldn't remember the last time she had heard it, other than little things here or there that everyone got in order to make sure that they were keeping up with the other members.  The harshest critic she had was always herself, even Ariel had told her that numerous times over their friendship and she recognized it, but wasn't doing anything about it.  Maybe this new year, even if it was a third of the way over, was going to be a good one for her after all.  She just hoped she could continue to push herself forward.
