UGH! I got a notice from Facebook about someone’s birthday. I normally ignore those, ‘cause I see them after the fact. This time I sent them a “happy birthday” message. So what happens? “It’s not my birthday!”
So I check the the the e-mail. Yep, it says it’s their birthday. When I go to facebook it reminds me it’s their birthday.
Now the person is annoyed with me, because I didn’t know it was wrong. Worse, they thinks an idiot because it doesn’t sound believable Facebook would give, and only me, the wrong info.
I could screenshot it and show her, but it sounds like over defensiveness to try to prove I’m not just making it up to cover my stupidity.
**sigh**
For once I thought I was doing the socializing thing right, and I still muck things up.
Note to self: Always triple check before you say anything!
(Or just go back to never looking at Facebook e-mails)
