why is it that every year on my bday, i always end up spending a few hours in the kitchen baking and cooking?

Vivid stress dreams about food. I’m definitely getting enough to eat but it still feels like I’m always hungry and I always want something better than what we have in the house. I survive primarily off of eggs and peanut butter/jelly sandwiches (not at the same time). I keep having dreams where someone is going to buy me food of my choice and I spend a long long time trying to figure out what exactly I want because I know it’s a super rare opportunity. But I always wake up before I get to eat any of it. Tomorrow I get paid and I’m crossing my fingers so HARD that not all of it goes to rent and I can get something tasty for myself. I now live for the few times I get to eat good food.
