"I'm gross, let me shower first!" Dennis said quickly as Robby opened the door and went to hug him. He evaded Robby deftly. "Give me ten minutes!"
"No rush, the steaks need to rest."
When Dennis slipped back into the kitchen with a only towel around his waist, Robby did a doubletake and almost sliced his finger off.
"Sorry! I forgot my clean clothes!" Dennis squeaked.
"Hey, wait," Robby stopped him, washing his hands and walking over. "What's that?"
Dennis froze as Robby reached out to trace the message on his ribs with a finger. "That's from Jack," Dennis whispered.
Robby nodded, eyes glued on Jack's messy script. "Jack wants to watch over you. I should do what he says, and send him proof."
Dennis blushed. "Why do you do that? Does he even want you to send him photos? Trinity thought he wasn't, like, interested in people yet. Since, you know. His wife."
Robby pulled Dennis in. "Maybe you're waking something up in him. I like showing you off. You're so... you're so lovely, Dennis. You have such pretty eyes. You have such a pretty mouth. Your skin. Your smile. I don't think you know. What you do to us."
Dennis buried his head in Robby's chest. "Too many compliments, you have to stop. Can't deal."
Robby stroked his hair. "I want to work on your stamina..."

"Does Jack really think you're so bad?" Dennis asked, getting out the plates and the silverware.
"I'll be the first to admit that I have a bad track record..." Robby trailed off. "I think Jack thinks I can be a better. A better version of myself. With a firm hand."
"He believes in you."
"We've known each other for a long time. We're like brothers."
Dennis didn't say anything, but a glazed look came over his eyes. "Are you two good at sharing?"
"Fuck, kid. The things you say..." Robby muttered, putting the salad on the table. "Would you be ok with that?"
Dennis put down two napkins. "Feels good so far."
"Let me send him a couple pictures, then let's eat."
